Scans were excellently done and in a much shorter time than I expected.
However, I hadn't realized they have changed their standard method of sending the scans on a CD and instead they must be downloaded. When I purchased the scan, which admittedly was almost 9 months ago, the CD was included.

The digital photos made from my 35mm slides of about 60 years ago, and poorly conserved, some dirty, worn, scratched...thrown into a manila envelope all that time, came out crystal clear, sharp as a tack, gorgeous color and I am simply amazed at the workmanship, as are all my friends and family. We are thrilled to have them, and even more so because of the quality.

The service and quality of the work are as advertised. I did get a premature email directing me to download my scans when they were not in fact available yet, that was confusing. Given the expense, I decided I would be better off buying a small film scanner (Kodak Slide N Scan) from Amazon, and doing my own.

Good job. Although two slides were superimposed when first scanned, they were separated and re-done a few days later after I reported it.

Overall excellent! I used ScanCafe twice, totalling up to digitalizing 2500 photos. Now we need not worry about losing the physical copies anymore (we know the pain from losing some of them years ago).
I gave 4 star instead of 5 star because there was one time when their confirmation of receiving the photos were delayed by days even though UPS indicated that the photos had been delivered. When I emailed their support team, then they promptly confirmed its receipt. I hope this encourages them to stay more current on acknowledging the receipt of photos, since my family experienced a lot of anxiety sending the photos to them (in case it gets lost in the shipping phase) and placed a lot of trust. So a quick response would help us feel assured. Other than that, everything else was straightforward and professionally done. Overall process was very easy and high quality. I would use them again and recommend to friends.
