Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to this link. I have not been able to reply until now. I did, in fact, ring Preferred Management Solutions at the time to have it recorded on Sam's record of the excellent response I had from him. It was excellent customer service. He was very pleasant to speak with, most understanding and extremely efficient in getting someone to come along to attend to my boiler thermostat problem without delay. Sam is a credit to your organisation.
It was a surprise however that I had to pay £60 excess which I had no pre-knowledge of and with my previous Emergency Cover company who I only had to call out one over many years did not charge an excess.
However, I cannot be so complimentary about the agent who came to attend to the problem. Whilst I was very grateful he came here from Wigan, he was not explanatory at all in the workings of the new thermostat and I had to get advice from another source to demonstrate how to use it.

UW are a Professional company. They always listen to their customers and make every effort to make sure their customer get the best service and end result. I had a few issues I was unhappy with concerning my claim however, the Advisors gave me the space to explain the problem, it was escalated and dealt with promptly.
When Ali the engineer arrived to provide a diagnosis for my boiler, he explained the problem clearly and Told me what was required and the next step. He has so much patience. I have dealt with Ali on a few occasions and whenever I need an Engineer he is the person I request. He is very professional, one of the best UW engineer and he always follows up with an update if needed. UW is one of the best companies out there as they provide a personal service and not one where you are talking to a voice message.
