We ordered some food items from Fennel and Ginger who sent a package via you on a 48hr delivery basis, to us. It was not trackable and then we were told you passed it to Yodel who kept it in their depot and delivered it finally 5 days later. Please do not use this company, it is not reliable at all, and clearly cannot cope with the volume of parcels that they take on.

"Appalling service"
Rarely post reviews, normally only if a company is either very good or very bad. In this case the service has been shocking. Ordered a package off Amazon Marketplace and paid extra to be delivered quickly. Turns out that “quickly” included spending 9 days in a depot. I subsequently complained to the seller who said they would investigate. Surprise, surprise, next day the delivery status changed to Delivered. Except it hadn’t been delivered. So either delivered to a wrong address or they were lying about the delivery. Note to retailers - don’t use Whistl otherwise your customers will be whistling in the dark when they are trying to estimate when or if their package will arrive.

Status is Stuck at depot.....since 7th December. Yet another UK delivery service to avoid to add to the list of Evri, Royal Mail, Whistl, UPS who are also terrible.
The only companies that I will try to make sure Sellers use are dpd and dhl and fedex that can just about be relied upon. Exhausting!!
Need to go buy another gift for the holiday season...

5 days currently sat at depot for my parcel, I am not hopeful. Email sent to customer support but no reply. Worse than evri and that's saying something

Parcel stuck at depot- hasn't moved for 2 weeks. So frustrating, the seller has sent out a new parcel and I am praying they don't use Whistl again, even Evri would be better and that is saying something...

Oh, I wish I had known the seller was going to use Whistl. If so I would have bought elsewhere. My book order (a Christmas gift) was ordered on the 7th Dec, dispatched on 8th but not collected until the 10th, and is now 'stuck at depot'. So much for the 'fast delivery' as described by the seller. Whistl have damaged this seller's reputation, although it's the seller's own fault for using such a publicly despised delivery service.
I will NEVER use Whistl myself and I will NEVER knowingly buy from any company that dispatches their items through them.
Awful, awful company.

"The depot of death"
The depot of death! MY items have been stuck there for over a week now. No way to contact them and if you want to make a complaint you are directed instead to contact the seller of whatever you ordered.
My story is the same as everyone else's. Honestly, I have no idea how this company is still in business. Hundreds of 1 star reviews, all with the same complaint. Clearly, this isn't a just few disgruntled people, or some one off problems, this is a systemic issue.
Interestingly, I ordered 2 items, the tracking says they arrived at the depot on different days. However, the tracking shows that both items arrived at exactly the same time, to the minute. Other reviewers have questioned the validity of the tracking information. Obviously we can't know for sure and it is possible that items would arrive on different days, but at exactly the same time. But that seems like a big coincidence.
Who knows.
They only thing that I can say for sure is that I am personally suffering from exactly the same problem as hundreds of other people that have posted here on Trustpilot. In the future, I will ask companies I order from who they are using for delivery. If they say Whistl, I will simply not buy from them.

"Delivery ok but tracking useless"
Having spent a frustrating half hour trying to track my parcel, I posted a one-star review of this company- only for the parcel to be delivered later the same day. So, in all conscience I felt I should upgrade my rating as they had delivered (just) within the timeframe suggested by the supplier. The tracking system is still useless, though.

Placed my order on the 27th of November as a Christmas gift. It was due to arrive on the 1st of December, but has been stating “at depot” since 29th November with no way to contact them. My brother in law’s flight is leaving tomorrow for South Africa and the parcel is meant to be on board with him for a little 2 year old girl who will now not get her precious personalised gift!

"0 stars if I could"
0 stars if I could. My parcel hasn’t moved any where according to tracking since November 28th . Was a present from my daughter to me for Christmas. Sender gave a refund but I would have preferred to recieve my item.
Whistl may not be delivering the item and only aranging delivery but they should have a free tracking service that is at least reliable and can connect to who is delivering.
Disgraceful service which shouldn’t be allowed to continue!!!!!!
