Fab to get such a warm welcome back in store! Enjoyed sampling the cold instant tea powder - Strawberry & Wayermelon so refreshing! Perfect drink for Summer - Bought some right away! Also lovely to get the sample pack of tea to try out new types without having to purchase a whole box! Would love the free sample idea to be included in online shopping as bought loads of things online due to COVID restrictions over the past year, but missed out on samples which one gets instore.

Upon arrival in the store we were greeted by two lovely ladies. Said if we needed any help to just ask and they will be on side to assist us in any way. I was looking to get some more instant tea and hot chocolate. There was a new flavour out of the instant tea (Strawberry and Watermelon) which I was hoping to buy and the we were told we could try a sample of it before i bought it which was great !! Needless to say i bought a tub and also my standard favourite dreamtime. I also managed to get my hubby his favourite white hot chocolate as well. Overall experience was great and we also got some free samples of the loose tea which i am yet to try but will be asap. Thank you and look forward to returning to store again.

"Annoying review requests v lovely staff"

Always, whatever we do, we get asked to give a review and if we don't give top marks - a 10 or 5 stars we are berated and asked to justify that. These requests are annoying, irritating and demean companies. OK, so now you know how I feel.

Apart from that there is a very nice, helpful and friendly young man that works in the Norwich store. He always seems to have time for one and seems very enthusiastic about the products. I like shopping there so that I can talk to him. I wish that I could see his face instead of it being hidden behind a mask.

Visited the shop for a birthday gift, and was told by the assistant that there was a promotion on, if I spent £10 in store, I would get a second item free, so I purchased a lovely, colourful cup, and got a tub of hot chocolate (£9) free!... As I am part of the "Top Tasters" I also got to choose 3 free samples, which, again, the male assistant was extremely helpful with, offering suggestions as to flavours..this is a great way to discover favourite new flavours without buying one you may not like... It is always a pleasure to shop in Whittard, the assistants are always very helpful, chatty and pleasant. I love popping in for a treat for myself every now and then.... Their products are a tad more expensive, but, to me, worth it... I love my little indulgent gifts to myself. A lovely stofe, with lovely staff!
