Karen is amazing. She flawlessly helped our group of seven book an Antarctica cruise in a very short amount of time. Always quick to answer given the time difference but always thorough. Just did my fourth trip with Eclipse Travel. Ecuadorian Amazon and Galapagos; The Arctic (Svalbard); Chilean and Argentian Patagonia, the Antarctic, Buenos Aires and Iguassu Falls; and Costa Rica and Cuba. All wonderful and the communication with Matt, my Eclipse agent, has always been superb. Next one I am planning? Africa!

Eclipse Travel were a delight to deal with. I simply gave them my holiday objectives and my budget and they did the rest. They organised all the travel, accommodation, treks and guided tours. The agent I dealt with, Shae, was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. She kept me informed of progress all along the way and even reminded me to renew my passport and check my vaccinations. I would unhesitatingly recommend them for friendly professional service.

"It was a great trip"

It was a great trip. My only concern was that when the guide spoke, I could not hear him as the road noise was so loud.We saw lots of animals.The guide had a good local and animal knowledge. He was very helpful.

"Great Experience from Eclipse Travel"

Me, my dad and a family friend went to South America & Antarctica recently which we booked through Eclipse Travel.

Firstly, we went with them because they had good prices. The travel agent also had very good knowledge of the different trips and found us the trips that we were looking for. Although the trip was primarily about Antarctica, we requested a week in South America as well and Eclipse was also quite knowledgeable and recommended an itinerary which worked well for us.

Most of the trip went well and smoothly, all tours and excursions in South America went well, but upon trying to leave Antarctica we got trapped by bad weather and missed our flights back to Australia. Eclipse were very helpful and helped us get home as soon as possible, even though it was school holidays in South America and getting flights was difficult.

Now that I'm home, Eclipse sent us all the relevant information we needed to then process our travel insurance claim.

All in all, I've been very impressed with Eclipse Travel and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Their knowledge, professionalism and customer service has been absolutely top notch.

"South America"

Chile, Brazil and Colombia experience were excellent.
Amazon accommodation and guide were horrible. Rest of Peru experience was excellent.
Igazu experience was excellent. The guide at Buenos Aires was busy on the phone and had to be requested to get off it after approx. 2 hours. The transport was an issue.
The Eclipse documentation was not tailored to the trip, making us carry extra weight, due to generic list. The visa details in the documents was more relevant to Australian passport holders than New Zealand.
Overall a mixed experience, but more good than bad.
