From the initial booking to the actual tour everything was like clockwork. The knowledge of the consultant (Maurizio) was excellent and he was able to design a package tour for me which took in everything I wanted- all included in a well designed itinerary. Hotels were well located and clean- with only one hotel not being of the high standard the others were. The guides (Machu Picchu, Amazon and Patagonia) were excellent. I would certainly use Eclipse again for any further South American travels.

"South America trip"

They helped me organise my South America tour very well. However I do feel that once deposit was paid, the communication with the agent was not as prompt as before and that less care was involved.
I do wish that more in-depth details of say local programs, for example at Refugio Amazonas, was explained to us before the trip. We only found out we could choose our daily program when we got to the lodge, instead a standard set program was just organised for us by Eclipse, and we had to follow that program. It would have been nice to choose our own daily program there.
Apart from that the trip was fabulous. The local tour companies that was used by Eclipse was very experienced and helpful.

Matt helped us out according to our needs, seems to understand what we were after and answered endless questions. The complex itinerary went well with only a couple of minor glitches which were to do with companies Eclipse was dealing with overseas. Will definitely use service again.

"Very happy with recent trip to South …"

Very happy with recent trip to South America / Antartica. All tours were private tours with all on time with one exception... quality of guides and vehicles used was great however tend to always have air conditioner on with window down. Private tours highly recommended. All accomodation was terrific with exceptional service. Machu Picchu 104 kilometre tour was fabulous, not as stressful as expected and absolutely the perfect way to first see MP. Our guide was just the best... walked at our pace... reached Sun Gate in 5 hrs. Lunch which was provided was really healthy and filling. As arrived at MP at 1pm, could have easily completed the tour of the ruins to catch 6pm train back to Sacred Valley. Would recommend this as the ideal way to see MP in a day rather than returning a second day. Staying at Tambo Del Inka and travelling back and forth in a day although a little tiring it is ideal for a venture to Machu Picchu.

Ponant 10 night cruise to Antartica was beyond spectacular. Everyone should consider an expedition trip. Truely the best experience.

Tiffany from Eclipse was terrific. Always returned calls and emails promptly. Her suggested itinerary was near perfect. Companies used in Peru and Argentina were first class. Don’t hesitate to give them a call to assist with your travel needs.

"South America Adventure"

We have returned from our amazing South American trip and we would like to thank Shae for putting this together for us. To the places we visited and to the way trip was structured everything flowed well and we couldn’t have been happier with it all.

Everything went smoothly and all the guides and transfers were all really friendly and helpful. We are so happy that we had all the transfers arranged as it made life so much easier knowing that someone would be there to pick us up and drop us back to the airport.

We enjoyed all of the hotels you chose for us, the quality of the rooms was great and locations even better.

Our guides Boris (Peru) and Jessica (Iguazu Falls) were what really helped us experience the areas to the fullest that we were visiting. It was probably even better because it was just the two of us with each of them and because they have the right personality to do their job really well…full credit to both of them!

The excursions were all really well organised and run by the operators. We had fun on every one we went on and have so many memories and photos all of them. We especially enjoyed the mini trekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier, this was an amazing activity and one that was very special.

What an amazing place the Ecocamp was to stay at. The camp is in such an amazing location and you really do feel like you are one with the environment here. The domes are great.

Everything run smoothly with our flights we had plenty of time between connecting flights and luckily for us nothing was cancelled or re-scheduled. The timings were great as we never felt like we were stuck at an airport for too long.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Eclipse Travel to our family and friends and in fact we have already done so. Thank you so very much for your ideas and guidance while putting together our trip and for checking in with us once our trip had started to make sure everything was going ok.

Matt and his team are superb-we have travelled with them on several holidays lasting a month at a time with our 3 children from when they were young. Their accommodation choices are spot on and their support was outstanding when airlines,hotels etc made an error they went to a lot of effort to put things right .We have travelled 12 weeks a year for 25 years and have never come across an agency as efficient or as supportive as Eclipse Travel.

Our recent travels from New Zealand to South America went like a dream. Mauricio and the Eclipse team in Sydney made arrangements for our internal flights, accommodation and local tours.
