"Lazy Liars!"

I was due to have a delivery of groceries today but it did not arrive. After 10 minutes on hold for customer service I asked where it was. They phoned back and said the courier couldn't get to my address as there were road works. Firstly neither the courier nor the store phoned me to let me know and secondly I just had a delivery from Amazon and I asked him and he said he just took a different route! Seems the Co-op courier just couldn't be bothered, and I will never shop with them again!

Shouldn’t even be 1 star but no option to give zero stars! After reading all the negative reviews I'm quite shocked as always had Coop as a company who cares for their members! Anyway seems like their sandwiches and food items are also suffering. Usually buy lunch from there but recently looks like they are running out of fillings too and giving empty wraps. Their online contact forms don’t work and if you try to call the customer service the phone just cuts off. So no way to contact them either.

Normally I've never had a problem with co op food. I've always found it good quality, tasty, expensive, but worth it. However recently in this last month, I've had two lots of sausage meat go off before it's date. I even took a bite of the sausage! before spitting it out. Vegetables also go off within 2 days. And! it's not my fridge, that's brand new! Also smoked salmon that tastes like it's been frozen for too long. Now I wouldn't normally complain but these items are not exactly cheap and I'm now wondering actually, if it's worth shopping somewhere else in the future.

I ordered cigarettes from the Co op store online in November 2024 and just realised from looking at my online bank account (Natwest) that the Co Op have been helping themselves to my money every fortnight for a similar amount ever since, the Co Op guy was not helpful, he said all transactions were made by me using my debit card online, I can't get my money back and it's over £200.

Co op latest scam. Your members card is worth nothing now. First the co op withdrew the actual members cash back, now it seems some tills are rigged so that they do not REGISTER your card, in effect your chosen charity doesn't receive the cash as well. So it's a gloryfied scam. PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECIPES BEFORE LEAVING THE SHOP. The sickening thing is it's mostly the old, and the poor that are suffering. Through very high scam prices in the first place than being ripped off again when the customer feels thair doing the right thing supporting a local charity. You don't have to be mugged in the street just go to your local Co Op.

Great if you’re a fan of ZZ Top. I managed to grow a massive Billy Gibbons bears whilst waiting for the self service till to be approved. I was clean shaven when I walked in.

6 Weeks to set up a current account!!. I have phoned 9 times to to ask where is my account. 3 times put phone down during conversation. 3 told me not to worry its in hand (it was not). 1 told me all done now and notes are put on the account. Next one told me no, I have to do it again manually and there are no notes on the account. Lies lies lies. What happened to treating customers fairly and doing what you say you will do!!

I have cancelled my previous packaged bank account to move to the Coop version. I have now not been covered for 6 weeks because they are inept.
