Been using Weldricks since I moved to Thorne South Yorks in 2006. Never any issues staff very good helpful and professional. 2020 when I move to Edlington South yorks. Had change meds from weekly to monthly because covid. Then because of my health problems my meds changed back to weekly. There has been an ongoing battle with chemist seems be the supervisor there has personal vendetta leading to her actually going over my doctors get my meds stopped. From the start I was told I can order week In advance by my doctors surgery. Then when chemist wouldn't agree to that even doctor said if I can't order day before to change the Chemist. So I decided take step back doesn't matter what day I go in never ready have had to wait up to 45 mins. They regularly move the goal posts today they said im allowed ring now but supervisor stated that i couldnt do that previously. I just have to come in and sit and wait. Enough is enough my blood pressure and my mental anxiety goes through the roof. I'm not dealing with them anymore. Gone to another chemist who doesnt understand the issues either. I have been nothing but polite and cordial but when Chemist actually goes to my doctors to stop my meds being issued that is totally out of oder.
Also I was verbally assaulted and threatened by another customer. Not knowing any of the circumstances that had been going on. Staff protected him by saying that he was sticking up for them . This is how this branch treats those that have mental health issues and finds this acceptable.Proves my point how staff have an uncaring attitude towards those that have these issues.
Weldricks now trying to claim my review is not genuine unless I can provide more Information. I have provided them all my personal information but they know exactly who I am at the Edlington Branch. It's just another tactic to try and discredit what I have said. Says alot out this organisation simple checks by Weldricks would confirm who I am and what I said is true.Remember there are cameras at this branch plus there were Independant witnesses to what transpired.Also a member of my doctors surgery came over to talk to them claimed it wasn't personal but couldnt explain why they were doing what they were doing and accepted that my mental health was more Important than dealing with this Chemist anymore.I have also called the Weldricks customer helpline again today 13/9/2024 12.30 ish and spoke again to lady who deals Edlington. These calls are recorded she said she doesnt understand why the Web enquiries Department havnt got my details because she has them and will contact and pass them on even though they claim they don't have them.
Had further response admitting some failures on their part doesnt go far enough or deal with the issues I indicated including trying to claim they were working with my GP which is a lie.Manager actually went against the GPs advice on 2 occasions and this is easily proven and can be confirmed by my doctor. I have already stated this shows Weldricks couldnt be bothered to read this complaint and have their own agenda to cover for their employees wrongdoings.Continues show an uncaring attitude and no response to why I couldn't reorder my meds like everyone else and why a manager would actually go and try stop my meds being dispensed. When this all blew up in her face she refused come out face the music sent one of her underlings out who didnt have clue what was going on and dropped her in it by saying i could call ahead which had been previously denied me plus no explanation after only 6 weeks ago my meds would be ready and now i had to wait every time. Her explanation safety. How is it safety if they have my meds it makes no sense. Please excuse me but this has really upset me trying deal with more important issues in my life instead focusing on this. It's generic nonsense from a very big rich company who couldn't care less about the people it dispenses to. Being honest I didn't expect much more . Let people judge for themselves if they believe this is acceptable way treat people with numerous health issues including mental health.
In conclusion Weldricks accepts staff dishonesty, verbal threats from other customers and that it has an uncaring attitude towards those who it dispenses medicines to.
