I was putting my house on the market and wanted to find a good deal without all the hassle of phoning round lots of agents . Net agent was easy and I had offers from local Estate Agents the following day. I chose Kavanaghs and they have been excellent. The good news I accepted an offer on my home last week, I would happily recommend using Net Agent.

Contractual terms are important, but keep in mind the quality of the service that you will receive. My experience is that the large agencies are not necessarily the best. Once they have you signed up, they basically put you on a shelf as if you were a fancy bottle of olive oil, and then cater to the customers who walk in the door. They will not push your olive oil, and they will not try to sell the same bottle of olive oil to two different customers -- i.e., they segment their customers into specific houses, with the intention of maximizing their sales and hence commissions. This puts you, as a buyer, at the mercy of unscrupulous buyers. After switching agents, I got a much better service from a smaller agency, who were also identified through netagent.com.

This website is a great money saving tool, its gives the seller the unique opportunity to find out exactly what services an agent can offer them and more importantly the commission quoted upfront (with no hidden fees). I found the process to be both simple and very informative at each stage of the process. I did feel apprehensive about the prospect of managing the process myself to start with but the website tells you everything you need to know at each stage. I would recommend this website to anyone looking to move in the future, I simply don't know why you wouldn't use netanagent.com and remove the mystery of what we actually pay agents fee for!
