"Do not use"

Gave in an iPhone that I use as a second phone whilst on holidays to change the battery at the Chiswick branch. When I was out on holiday, realised that iSmash has removed the sim tray, so could not use phone. Also, cannot find an original sim tray to fit that one now. Replicas stick out.

"An unmitigated disaster"

An unmitigated disaster. A battery swap for my iPhone at the Guildford branch left me with a scratched case, a low-capacity battery, and a damaged motherboard leading to the overheated battery losing power at a ridiculous rate. Approved Apple repairers will not touch the phone now. This appointment has effectively cost a fortune.

Shaikho @iSmash London Canary Wharf is an absolute lifesaver! Came in with a non-functioning phone and in complete panic, in two minutes flat Shaikho did his magic and somehow managed to make it work after all of my YouTube at-home fixes failed. Highly recommend coming in if you need anything tech related fixed!

"I found Gold!"

Unfortunately, I have realised how dependent I am on my phone. (Samsung S10).
Yes! Yes! Yes! I know, 'in the outside world, it's now considered an oldie'. However, 'in my world, it's very much a goldie'.
Talking of all things golden, I know a place that is just that. My phone battery was coming to an end, and I still needed to be on call for work, medical appointments for myself and my parents, and an expected call from my agent. Due to my emergency, the SamsungKX branch advised me to try iSmash, as Samsung KX would require approximately five days with the phone. "WHAT!!?"
And that's where I found Gold!
Tariq at iSmash Kings Cross was professional and courteous and assured me that he and the team would do all they could to change the battery as quickly as possible. He explained, "Unfortunately, the stringent testing demanded by Samsung would take longer to perform than just the battery change."
And so, true to his word, upon my return - within 2 hours, my phone was ready to collect—with a new battery installed and tested to original Samsung quality.
Thank you Tariq. Thank you iSmash.
In those two hours without the phone, I received two marketing emails sent straight into my spam folder and no phone calls—I am not as important or in demand as much as I imagined.
But iSmash is Golden!

"Leicester Highcross - Top service and repair - thanks"

Brilliant service and repair at Leicester Highcross - again! Took 45 mins to replace the battery and new screen. Fully tested when complete. Even better when I used my special offer vouchers. Would highly recommend!

"Service…"

Not impressed with the Guildford branch. We went in to get a replacement battery for our iPhone, at the time of when we went in, I asked if they did replacement apple iPhone batteries, to which the guy ( that didn’t have many words) said so we agreed to have replaced. After coming home noticed on setting that the battery alert came up. When checked says battery fitted is not the correct one. Anyway today went back in to the shop and spoke to the guy. And has a job to speak. And another guy shouting behind a plastic screen. When I said I couldn’t hear what he was saying he grunted then shut up, didn’t want to move from behind the screen. Anyway they should have first explained that they were not installing a genuine apple battery when we first went in. Found them very unprofessional and not helpful at all. And would not recommend them

"Con artists, and liars."

3 months in to a new iPhone 12 screen from BLUE WATER STORE and it fails. Bit of fluffing about to do the warranty claim but go there today at Blue Water at 1pm.
Walk in and the guy takes the phone and says Water /liquid Damage.
It was as if this answer was at the tip of his tongue before he even looked at my phone.You sure I said? as the phone has never been near water. I left the phone and got an email soon after basically saying ‘tough’! Best part of £200 down the sink hole ( no pun intended).
So to sum them up I would say con artists and no back bone. My phone has never been near liquid for it to be damaged, just them trying to make some more money as they will replace but you need to pay. Screen has gone green and has white lines. How that’s water damage I don’t know. Will never use these clowns again.
Go to Apple Pay the extra and get a proper warranty. Zero stars from me.
