"Pixel 7 Pro Screen Repair"

Booked an appointment to have my Pixel 7 Pro screen replaced at a cost of £250 at iSmash in Meadhowhall, when I got there I was told I had to either pay an 'express service' fee of £15 to have it done there and then despite having booked an appointment or leave it with them and come back the following day to collect it. I also paid an additional £15 for a screen protector to be fitted after the screen replacement.

After collecting the phone something wasn't lined up properly under the screen which blocked the front facing camera, which I only noticed as I was walking back to my car by chance. I took it back and had it rectified then queried the screen protector which had been forgotten about although I had been charged for it so that had to be refunded.

All in all not a great experience and will probably avoid the company in the future.

Had an iPad battery replacement in Brighton store. Booking in was easy and staff were very helpful. Repair was done quickly and seems very good so far.

"Pixel 6 faulty screen!"

Took my pixel 6 in for repair the guy said it would be 3 hours as his work colleague had phoned in sick and he was on his own, we explained that we had travelled to get to Leeds and only expected to wait 1 hour.

He said he would do it as quick as he could and would ring when ready, 50 min later it was done and phone working perfectly. Sorry did not take the guys name but thank you so much!

I took my refurbished iPhone 12 in with a smashed screen, and got that replaced with a back camera. Two days later I was walking my dogs and there was a downpour after which it immediately stopped working, no display at all!!!! I had spent £213 and this was two days after I got it repaired. Just spend the extra money and go to Apple, at least it is guaranteed instead of this where they just charge you for another full screen. Total waste of time and money :(
