"Quite simply - SUPERB!"

I read a couple of reviews suggesting this place might be a bit dodgy - far from it! They are absolutely superb. I was looking for specific Pentax binoculars, and on comparison sites this company came up almost suspiciously cheap. I was even considering getting these in the US (i have family there, and travel over frequently), but ta the price offered by these guys there was simply no point. I know it's only one transaction, but it was so good (literally 'next day' delivery) i thought it only right to give them my thoughts.

"excellent service and very fast delivery"

I purchased a Sekonic L-478DR LiteMaster Pro from these recently.

After reading the reviews I was reluctant but due to a £60.00 saving I decided to nervously take a risk and buy from these guys. I don't know what I was worried about, as I received my light meter 2 days after ordering, so it was posted out the following day. Super fast service and I can't fault the item, as it arrived well packed and in pristine condition.

IGNORE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS... THIS COMPANY IS EXCELLENT! Will use again and you will also get the best price's around :-)

"Selling used equipment as new"

I ordered a new Nikon 10x42 Superior E Binocular.
What I received was a used one in a wrinkled box sealed with a plastic bag and tape.
They don't answer emails.
I wrote a bad review on their website which of course was not published.
Only the 5 stars are published (one).
This is fraud.

"Excellent Exchange"

I read about the Helios 10x50 and thought it’s a nice pair for astronomy.
I bought it from Microglobe and found the glass quality was not as good as Nikon 10x50.

I called them and they politely accepted the return and swap for the Nikon Action 10x50 Nikon binoculars.
I received it the next day after the receipt of the Helios binocular.
The Nikon pair is much sharper

"Friendly and Excellenent customer service"

I bought a Nikon 8x42 Monarch 7 from Microglobe website and had it the next day.
I was informed about my order’s every step via email.
The package was excellent and the binocular was crisp clear edge to edge sharp.

I called them to know about the binocular a bit more. They were told me in a professional way and the ED glass used in this binocular as a reason of its sharpness.

They are extremely polite people running this business.
I love to go and meet them in person.
They are very close to British museum in central London.
I definitely recommend Microglobe
Well done Microglobe

"Reliable, Fast, and Secure"

Microglobe in London never let me down
I ordered and a Bushnell binocular and an it was Friday 3pm
They promised for next day delivery which was Saturday. I was surprised that the Royal mail came at 9am and I had my binocular.

I use Microglobe for 6 years and I never been disappointed.
They have great range of binoculars, lenses and mostly accessories for cameras.

The sales team is quite friendly. In one occasion I met the shop and tried a binocular and bought it. Binoculars are really good if you try them which one suites your eye.

Many happy customers don’t do reviews but I m doing it,
I will use Microglobe again and recommend you to others.
Cheers !!!

"Biggest frauds EVER!"

Let me tell you my story:
I enjoy photography and needed a new lens.
The lens I wanted has unfortunately been discontinued, so I tried doing a search on Google to see if anybody had a used copy I could buy.
I found out that Microglobe had a brand new version of this lens in stock, so after reading a couple of mixed reviews online, I took the plunge and ordered from their website.
During checkout I typed in my credit card information complete with expiry date and security code, and also gave the company my address - everything seemed legit and I was transferred to a page that made me confirm the details - I pressed "confirm" and was taken further on to an electronic receipt of my order.
Later that day I received the following e-mail from Microglobe:

"Dear valued customer
We have processed your order, but the address you have provided as your card’s registered address is not matching the address your bank’s hold for this particular card.
In order to facilitate the quick delivery of your order please:Send us the billing address (Registered address) of your credit card exactly as it appears in your bank statement.
Kind regards
Microglobe Sales Team"

"That's odd" I thought to myself, as the whole check-out process was made to look like a secure check-out, and the payment and address details had already been accepted.
I was in a hurry that day, as I was packing to go to Norway the day after, so I sent the company my address as it was stated on my bank statements.
I also called Microglobe to ask them if they had received my information, and they confirmed, telling me that the lens would be shipped out the following day.

The day after ordering from Microglobe, on my way to Norway, I got a call from a UK based telephone number which I unfortunately missed - I tried calling it back after a couple of hours, and was put on hold to a company called "medhotels.com".
I immediately hung up, thinking that they may have called me in some kind of marketing campaign, as I do travel a lot with my work.
This was on a Friday.

The following Monday I was back from Norway, and I happened to check my account via my web-bank, and found that a total of 574,72 euro had been deducted from my account, by "medhotels.com".
I immediately called "medhotels.com" and spoke with a very nice woman, who confirmed that my credit card had in fact been used to order a hotel stay by a "Rhiyad Hadad" (Not sure if this is the correct way to spell it?)......
I told her that I had nothing to do with this, and she immediately cancelled the reservation and refunded my money.

Later that day, the lens arrived with the postal service in two different boxes - one for the lens and one for the box? According to Microglobe this was to "save on weight" but a cardboard box doesn't weigh that much, so I suspect some grey import stuff happening - anyway the lens was to my surprise exactly as described and worked like it should, except for a heavy front-focus which means that today I've had to deliver the lens at a service center here in Denmark, and they will then calibrate the lens and check if it's a grey import.

Long story short: Today I created a fake account with Microglobe, and tried to order some stuff with a totally fake and made up address, along with some made up credit card information, and sure enough their website accepts the order and leads you to believe that you're using a secure check-out process - something which would NOT BE POSSIBLE if you were in fact using a secure check-out!
This leads me to the conclusion, that an employee from Microglobe, or someone close to that person has been mis-using my credit card information.

As I wrote earlier in my review, I do travel a lot with my work, but I ALWAYS pay in cash or withdraw money from ATM machines inside banks - thus I am very aware of WHEN and WHERE I use my credit card, and I only order from trusted websites that's had lots of good reviews on trustpilot or through good friends.
All of my computers runs updated antivirus software, and I never install programs or add-ons to my web-browser from untrusted sites.
I work in the security industry and have a long background from the army, which means that I'm sometimes obsessed with security measures, precautions and planning, and this holds true for everything I do in life, therefore I am absolutely certain that no other than an employee or someone close to an employee at Microglobe, is responsible for the mis-use of my credit card information.

All the info I have gathered during this "incident", has been passed over to my banks fraud management office and the Danish police, so they will now have to take any necessary steps from here on, although I'm afraid that nothing will actually happen to the one responsible for all of this.
I've gotten my 574,72 euro back again, and a new credit card is on it's way, so from here on I can say that everything worked out in the end, even though I've had to send the lens in for re-calibration for my own money.
All in all I can say that I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Microglobe ever again, and I strongly encourage people to stay clear of them!
