"Thieves, scammers, deceivers, dirty players, cowards"
Thieves, that's a generous word to describe this shop.
I ordered a motherboard for a skywatcher HEQ5 mount, price was very much competitive.
Delivery was flawless and vendor answered my emails providing tracking number.
However motherboard was not new, had yellow weird sticky spots on the back and finally was not functional.
I sent it back the day after (16.12.20)
Since 16.12.2020 i tried to mail them, contact them via phone, via whatsapp, nothing... they just disappeared.
I finally did open a controversy through Paypal and also in this situation they tried to deceive the whole process, pretending the item was not delivered back to them.
Luckily i kept all the documentation, took pictures of every phase and every detail.
I am confident to recover my money even i find shameful all what happened, these guys insults a precious and noble passion as astronomy is.
When i will get back my money, it will be used to buy a ticket to London, to shake their hands... personally !
DO NOT MAKE ANY DEAL WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY

"I bought a Celestron telescope for…"
I bought a Celestron telescope for Xmas. I had problems with set up and needed technical support. After sales care was non-existent. There was a problem, later revealed by Celestron global, who were tremendous. Microglobe dismissed my concern as my inability to set up correctly. In fact the scope needed re-collimation!
Microglobe have been reluctant to enter into any communication. They made their sale and that was the end of it.
Good luck if you purchase anything from this company. If you have recourse for complaint you will be ignored. Avoid them if you can

"I would never use this outfit ever again"
Ordered a pair of binoculars on the 12th December. Money was taken out of my account on the 14th. Thereafter I repeatedly called to ask when they would be delivered. No answer to my calls. Sent them an email. No response. Sent them a watts app message. They responded asking for my order details. Then finally on the 23rd December they said “sorry it’s out of stock”. This message came through on watts app ...they didn’t even have the courtesy of calling me to say sorry. Am now waiting for my refund. It’s a matter for each individual but I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them for anything. Instead I would recommend the London Camera Exchange. They sorted me out on the day. Great service unlike this outfit. My main regret is that I didn’t read the other reviews which consistently said how bad this firm is.

First rate service. Purchased a Skywatcher 6x30 finderscope which arrived on time. My order was taken over the phone with no problems. Would definitely recommend.

I have ordered from Microglobe several times now and never had any problems. Due to Covid it is not possible to view items before purchasing which results in a lot of returns. The guys in the shop are always very helpful and show a lot of understanding. Web page is clear and paying with paypal is very convenient. The best of all - very competitive prices. Overall experience has been nothing but positive so far. I will be buying more products there in the future.

"I had seen variable reviews, however they were fair with me"
I had seen some variable reviews, however Microglobe were advertising some some Telescope Eyepieces, which i couldn't find elsewhere. It turned out that these had been discontinued and were no longer available through any supplier that didn't actually have existing stock of them. Microglobe therefore couldn't fulfill the order, understandably. I received confirmation of this the very next day following the order placement and an immediate refund in my PayPal account. I couldn't ask for more than that.

"Dishonest thieves and bare-faced liars"
Dishonest thieves and bare-faced liars. Last May I returned a faulty motherboard, they sent an email confirming they received the board and sent it back to manufacturer for repair. I waited 6 months, they ignored my emails. PayPal got involved but they told PayPal (Twice) saying they had not received the faulty motherboard. Luckily I had all the delivery tracking information and their receival confirmation email. If I did not keep all the proof these cowboys would have stolen my money in broad daylight.

Ordered items on the 6th November. Says it’s shipped after 3 emails to get an answer. Royal Mail says otherwise
Avoid at all costs. PayPal refund requested. Disaster of a company for customer service - probably a sinking ship due to brexit and covid 19 and lying to their customers. Never again. Don’t bother shopping here

Absolutely awful,purchased a telescope for £212 which said in stock,only to have my order pending for 4days.so email and ring microglobe with no reply,raise a claim with pay pal and magic I get a reply saying your very sorry it’s out of stock with a backlog of orders and you would refund as soon as possible well what a shock still waiting for a refund 4days later

"Competitive Prices and Good Service"
I was interested in a Baader UFC and viewed this item on the Baader website. Baader listed Microglobe as a retailer of their products. I try to support different retailers and thought I would try Microglobe because they showed the stock of an item that no other retailer had. Worried about grey traders I did some research, apart from reading reviews, and decided to purchase from Microglobe. I then read some very negative reviews.
However, The goods arrived within three days and Microglobe responded very quickly to my emails to them.
I gave four stars only because I did not get an automatic confirmation of delivery. I would use Microglobe again because I cannot fault their honesty and service in these difficult times.
Well done Microglobe.
