"Investing my time in these reviews to help you avoid these clowns"
I purchased a washer and dryer through Appliances Connection. Now, that company has its own share of problems, but at least they respond to customer inquires. AM Home Delivery on the other hand does not. And when you finally get through to someone, they flat out lie.
My delivery on a Monday had an issue because the washer and dryer had to go to the second floor, as indicated on the order. The driver they sent was unable to do stairs, so they had to reschedule. This is after waiting more than five weeks already. Their dispatcher called and assured me they'd be back on Thursday, and would call later in the day to confirm the time. They never called. After being on hold for forty minutes I was told it was now Friday. On Wednesday, I called again since they did not actually confirm delivery. Here is a line you'll hear over and over again "The driver has not yet finalized the route. When he does you'll receive an email, phone call and text message, at least one day prior to delivery". Called again Thursday in the morning. Called Thursday afternoon at 5pm. I was told it would get finalized by 6pm. Called at 6pm, no answer. Called Appliances Connection, they called AM Home Delivery, it was now going to be....Tuesday.
I told them to cancel the order. Called Best Buy, had a washer and driver delivered four days later. Same price, no $95 cost to take it up the stairs, and they put on the hoses for me too.
AM Home Delivery, if you read this and think the review is unfair, don't worry. I'm still finalizing the review, and will let you know when an update is posted via email, phone call and text message at least one day prior to publishing it.

"Horrible company awful at communicating"
I am giving this company one more star than they deserve only because my first delivery went well and was on time. This latest one I have now been waiting 4 1/2 hours which is almost an hour outside of my window delivery time and no one has called me to say they are not coming or that my delivery would have to be scheduled or delayed. It was supposed to be delivered between 6:30am and 10:30 AM a couple days ago. However, I told them I would need 8:30am and then they didn’t tell me they were rescheduling and just didn’t come. I mean who schedules a delivery for 6:30 AM? I think there’s some sort of law that you can’t show up and make noise in neighborhoods prior to 8 o’clock. So they reschedule it for today and now no one has showed up. They have my items which are appliances and I don’t know when I’m going to get them or if I’m going to get them whether they will be damaged. I do not want to waste another day of my time and then they not come. There is very little communication with the actual people who deliver. You call the number and they cannot give you any information. They only can type in stuff and no one contact you. I’ve emailed I have called I even called the company I bought from which is AJ Madison. I am not sure exactly what to do at this point. They just arbitrarily give you a time and a date and then with that to not show up is just reprehensible. I am going to file a Better Business Bureau complaint about this company if I do not get my items today. I am not sure if they will finally show up or what to do. No way to contact anyone. You just have to wait for a random text where you cannot speak to someone. Where are my things? I am hungry and frustrated. They have the nerve on their text to say that if they reschedule they will charge you a fee, how about if they do not show up? What do I get for wasting two of my days and not communicating?

"I had a great experience with this…"
I had a great experience with this company. Our sectional sofa was delivered exactly when promised and in perfect condition. Jamie and Raul were as friendly and helpful as could be. Truly went out of their way during my delivery. Appreciate you guys! Thank you!!!

"This has been one of the worst…"
This has been one of the worst experiences with home delivery that I’ve ever had. I was told our furniture will be delivered within a four hour time span so I went ahead and block that part of my day off. Had I known it was not going to be delivered I would’ve happily gone to my child swim meet which I hated missing. There was no communication from the delivery crew. Still waiting for furniture. We purchased furniture from poly and bark. Won’t do that gain until I know they use a different delivery company.

"Horrible experience"
Horrible experience. have used them in Florida MANY times, all without issue. This Ohio location was a disaster. We ordered a fridge from a NY company bc it would arrive the quickest, and we had a family reunion scheduled. They got the fridge to AM trucking 6/3. We waited an entire week and my husband finally called and was told to be delivered Tuesday morning (the 13th). The time frame kept getting pushed back, then they called and said truck broke down, BUT we would still get the delivery before 11pm. Never showed, never called. We stayed up and waited. Tuesday my husband called and was told the fridge was in Elizabethtown (an hour from us) that they were on delivery 10 and we were 19. NEVER showed, Never called. I called and talked w a lovely lady in Los Angeles who said she could tell from her board that it WAS NEVER ON A TRUCK Tuesday at all, didn't know why we were told that. WE had to initiate all communication. Still having 30 people over the weekend, still need a refrigerator. We finally got a call that it would be delivered 4:30-8:30 FRIDAY. Ok, inconvenient but would work...Id have a place to store food over the weekend. At 7:30 they called and said there WOULD BE NO DELIVERY bc they were over their DOT allotment (WHICH THEY HAD TO KNOW WHEN IT WAS SCHEDULED!!!). Again called and spoke with same lady, she said if they had to go to a hotel they should deliver first thing Saturday am.
NEVER got s call or a fridge. If they'd have been honest I could have at least made other arrangements. WE have jobs, and obligations. Made special arrangements on THREE entire days to be available for a delivery that never came. ZERO communication. We were clearly not ANY priority.
This was a fridge to match a freezer in a designated space...they have upgraded the exterior and they don't match. So, we have now ordered a new freezer....from a company that does its own delivery. The company we ordered the fridge from was a bit cheaper, BUT WE WILL NEVER go through that again. We both run our own businesses. if we treated people like this we won't have businesses. Zero customer service. We have stayed late, arrived early and gone the extra mile (or ten) for our clients. This company does not. We threw out more food than I can tell you over that weekend. out of town guests couldn't take it and we had NO REFRIGERATOR!!!!

"THE. WORST."
What a freaking nightmare this joke of a company is. They have no clue what is happening with their own logistics, refuse to look at the full order from Appliances Connection, and keep telling me they are only delivering part of it, even though the status has showed all items arrived in their warehouse ready for delivery. I have sent them messages with screenshots showing them what their own website shows, but they refuse to acknowledge it and keep telling me *I need* to contact Appliances Connection to straighten it out. i.e. DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM.
I would NEVER use this service or buy something from a store that uses them.

"Okay"
Okay, so all of these no name 3rd party shippers are sketchy so it rates a 3 ... what you should do is this if things go bad:
(1) Do not speak to AM Trucking ... instead go straight to the retailer from where you ordered your item and complain to them. It's the only way you'll have success.
(2) have your cell phone on and recording as they are taking your item out of the truck, and keep it recording until you have unpacked it and verified it's arrived in expected condition, unless it's acceptable.
(3) Don't sign anything that says it arrived in acceptable condition.
(4) If it's damaged. Get yourself on camera (while they're in the camera view) saying that you won't sign anything that says it's in acceptable condition. Drivers will forge your signature saying it arrived in acceptable condition. If you sign anything make a note on the paperwork that it is damaged and you will seek restitution. Record yourself doing this. Basically you're going to have the camera rolling the whole time they're there so make sure you have enough space on your recording device.
(5) If damaged and you won't signing that it's acceptable, and they give you the lie that they can't leave it there unless you sign the document that says it's in good condition, then get them on camera saying that. Make sure they know they're on camera. If they still say that then let them take it. You have your proof that it was them, not you, that failed to make a delivery of an acceptable product.

"Twice"
Twice, May 10 and May 19 the driver showed up 20 minutes before the delivery window started. There were no phone calls to announce the early arrival. In the first instance, the driver left without making the delivery and I waited in vain for four hours. In the second instance, I happened to be at the delivery site early. Communication between the delivery truck and me was nonexistent. Communication between the 929-384-1222 operator and me the customer was in accurate and misleading. I will inform AJ Madison about these difficulties.

"Just as promises and on time, Oscar leading the way"
My delivery was on point and Arturo, Alfredo and Oscar a supervisor lead the team to a onetime delivery and set up without an issue. Thank you, Oscar and team!

"Awful"
Awful - on the scheduled delivery date, received a call that it would be delivered in about 20 mins. Two hours later, I had to call them and was told that the driver discovered it had not been loaded on the truck - of course, no one had bothered to contact me to let me know. They could not give me a new delivery date at that time, but a Routing Mgr. would have to call me later that day. Never heard from the Routing Mgr even though I requested to talk to them several times. Two days later, after I made several calls, I was told it would be delivered Fri. or Sat. - big lie. When I heard nothing further, I called once again, and was told it is scheduled for the following Monday. Their scheduled delivery date means nothing, they will not call you, and the customer service says they have no way to handle or contact mgmt by any means other than an email. And since Mgmt. will not call you back, there is no means of resolving any issue they are at fault for.
At this point I only hope it arrives on the new (third scheduled) date.
