My TransUnion credit report is full of inaccuracies. There is a person I have never heard of, a person with a similar name and 3 different addresses that show up on my credit report. Multiple different credit accounts linked with the two unknown names and 3 unknown addresses. I have raised disputes with TransUnion and they have not corrected a single error as yet.

Awful credit reference agency. I have a perfect score with Experian and a very good score with Equifax. My score used to be very good with Transunion then for some reason it nosedived overnight. With a bit of digging I found a BT default on there from 2019 for £20 which wasn't on there until recently. I'd already had this removed from my equifax report because it was wrong. Equifax contacted BT and had it removed no problem.
Suddenly it has turned up on Transunion. I've tried logging in to Transunion to raise a dispute, and what a joke that is. They can't verify me even though I have given them all the correct information.
This all came to light after I was refused finance for £300,
I was accepted for a mortgage with Natwest last year!!!!!!!

Completely useless malicious bunch of morons IMHO. Should be dealt with by the police and prosecuted. Directors jailed and fined for running such an appalling company. Should be BANNED and closed down. Utterly USELESS customer services, Cannot even answer simple questions. REFUSE to deal with complaints. Written false information in final response letters to justify their incompetence in my estimation. Even a Statutory credit report issued, a moron customer service rep entered an incorrect surname and still sent me a statutory credit report. Now this USELESS company now fails to online identify me even though I have lived at the same address for over 30 years and a customer services rep confirms my name and address are correct and are on the electoral register.
Signed up with TotallyCredit that uses TransUnion for its Credit information/identity checks successfully yet when the same address and personal details are correctly entered directly into TransUnion Statutory Credit report, online request form the company fails to identify me. What F *ck is going on? It is time this company is permanently shut down!

"Crashing score with no explanation"
TransUnion seem to be lowering my score dramatically everytime I look - I bought a mattress on credit, which I’ve faithfully paid back on time each month, and they dropped my score 23 points. They dropped it 11 points this month for absolutely no reason. My score with Experian is excellent, when I looked on CheckMyFiles to see what discrepancy was causing such a huge difference, everything was basically the same. Except my address history with TransUnion was utterly wrong.

They have so much wrong information on my credit report it’s a joke. I have been emailing them for months and they won’t do anything about it.

I never missed any payments ever. I am a finance-savvy person. Yet, TransUnion keeps reducing my credit score.
I pay my credit cards in full each month but when the balance shoots up (i.e. when you buy holidays or pay for a car deposit), it takes a chunk of my score. When the credit card is paid in full next month, the score does not go back up!! They do not check (or know) your affordability. If you are a heavy credit card use, you are at risk here. It does not matter even if you settle bills every month.
On one hand, they suggest we increase our credit card limits to improve our scores, and on the other hand, when you use that credit (even wisely), TransUnion penalises you.
They even reduce the score upon soft searches (i.e. at the time of insurance renewals). This practice must stop.
When you switch telephone operators (when buying a new phone or a new sim card deal), TransUnion shows closed accounts as open and active.
These guys behave as if they are not regulated. They are playing with so many people's lives. UK's FCA, ICO and all Ombudsman should deeply review their business and practices. Till then, be careful with TransUnion.
Is there any UK regulator that can look into this business, please?

rubbish saying am using 150% of my own money so score also saying i have 4 bank accounts were do these ppl come from ruin a lot of ppls chances of getting any thing explain how i cant use my own money and have 4 bank accounts lol
