"Complained to the FCA and Callcredit …"
Complained to the FCA and Callcredit after I looked up my credit rating on experian (999) and then found out that callcredit were another company that Sainsbury's used and then turned me down for a credit card, even though I pay the full balance every month. I logged a complaint with the FCA while taking Callcredit to task. Turns out that apparently I'm not registered at my new address even though I've lived there for 10 months and voted in the June election. CC insisted they got up to date information from my local council, so I took it up with them and discovered they updated my records within 2 months which was Feb this year. Callcredit still insist that they have the up to date information and right up to yesterday sent me a detailed response about the difference between the open register and the closed register. Still insisting that a "gesture of goodwill" they have updated my file to show I've lived here since July 2017 even though I've proved to them that I have lived here from December last year. Absolute shambles of a company how on earth are they allowed to play with people's lives?? it's an obvious scam to get me to sign up for the "Credit enhancer" at £15 per month which isn't going to happen. Well, keep going and keep complaining to Call Credit and the FCA as I'm doing. Take these pirates down. Playing with peoples lives isn't acceptable and is just commercial terrorism

"Poor company holding data"
The information this company records is always inaccurate. They blame everyone but themselves for holding out of date and inaccurate information. They should be shut down. Experian and Equifax do a fantastic job and maintain their data correctly so not sure why such a poor organisation is able to hold data about individuals. A complaint has been raised with the ICO about them. Looking forward to GDPR next year when data processors will also be liable for inaccurate information. Despite numerous contact attempts they do not respond and never update and data inaccuracies.

"I am quite prepared to publish here …"
I am quite prepared to publish here fully the e-mail correspondence over this company's utter failure to correct false and incorrect information on my wife's and my own credit files. Their officer has actually told lies in writing and made a clear and irrefutable statement also in writing that under the Data Protection Act 1998 local authorities are not allowed to disclose electoral roll information to credit reference agencies. Yet this bunch of very dishonest people continue to publish such data, often incorrectly WITHOUT sending representatives, as we are all entitled to do, to the local public library to examine the roll in person. Further they go on to state falsehoods about our local authority in our case in that they have been told by our local authority that we have been deleted from the roll. How can this be? They are condemned by their own words in writing. They are wilful lawbreakers and the matter is with the ombudsman for what that is worth and will shortly be with the Information Commissioner failing a personal response from their CEO Mr Mike Gordon. Failure to act on this will expose Mr Gordon and his data controllers as merely common criminals under the provisions of the Act. Thsi should be as widely publicised as possible as Callcredit Group are clearly unfit under the provisions of said Act to process personal data.

"Call Credit have requested moderation …"
Call Credit have requested moderation for 15 reviews (with an average of 2.5 out of 10) in one go, some of which date back years. I suspect most will be removed due to lack of response from old customers
Beware, this page used to be littered with complaints!

"sold my private details"
I joined this repugnant company to check my credit score as I got in a mess when was made redundant and paid a fee to see my file. My parents in there 70s with ill health kept getting phone calls from a debt collector and they kept telling them i do not live there but they kept hounding them so i rang the debt collector and thy told me call credit do a tracking service and sold them my details and phone numbers including my works number and the debt collector rang my works. So not only did they sell my details they sold them the wrong details. I opened a complaint with the call credit and its not been dealt with properly and they not upheld my complaint so i need to take legal action because surely they can't just sell my details without me knowing.do not use this company and wished i had read the reviews on here first they are not to be trusted

"Unbelievably horrid!"
Found inaccurate information in credit report and it's taking forever to be corrected (if they will correct).

"Sold my personal details"
I recently received a targeted personally addressed direct mail shot from a charity which I had no previous contact with. On complaining about the unsolicited addressed mailing I was told that my details had been supplied by Callcredit.
I would like to know how Callcredit feel it has my permission to use my personal data. Under the Freedom of Information Act this should be straightforward...somehow I doubt they will respond to my (already sent) email request - given others' experience with this marketing organisation!
Update. Well I have had a, prompt, response from Callcredit - to my email - with links to source data. I haven't accessed the data but appreciated the response!

"Get the £2 Statutory Report..."
A much improved £2 Statutory Report order process.
However, if you need anything changing on the report... FORGET EMAIL, you have to write in! You can buy online but every other process and you need to send a letter.

"Be careful"
We used CallCredit for AML searches and they tied us in for years more than we realised they could. Although they appear more cost effective on the surface they are not. Beware this company, it's money focused not customer focused
