Fluent / API steal from the elderly.
I went through great lengths to block fluent from accessing my elderly (in her 90s) mothers bank account. Got them blocked from charging $36 per month for them then to change their name and start charging her DOUBLE! They charge her account twice a month for an alarm system that DOES NOT exist. Scoundrels and scumbags, all of them. Fluent, API, different name, same theft from the elderly. My mother has almost 2 years paying double for service that she does not receive.

I have spent 2 hours each day and the problem isn't resolved yet we have been a customer for six years when our renewal came up it took months for the bank payment to be corrected that was in September and I don't think it is fixed yet.

"After my original 5 year contract…..."
After my original 5 year contract ended, I re-newed for another 2 years. One of my smoke alarms that had quit working was replaced at no charge to me that influenced my decision. Within two weeks one of my door sensors went bad and I was very much dis-appointed that the company would not replace it at no charge, I bought a replacement on my own. I now have another smoke alarm that has quit and am disappointed that it is no longer of use and because of the door sensor experience have not even request a no cost replacement.

Still waiting for the meter to be swapped out so I can get up and running. Panels placed 4-6 weeks ago and apparently they’re just decorative.

The sales and installation was flawless, service afterwards was dreadful and the cancelation process was nothing short of a scam. Terrible experience, I would warn all to steer clear of Fluent.

"Fluent is by far the worse alarm system…..."
Fluent is by far the worse alarm system ever. My panel has been unplugged for 2 weeks because it constantly beeps… no one has called yet to aware me that they can’t monitor my house because of it. No service call what so ever. Company wanted me to pay a tech fee (after having service for 5 terrible years) to come out to see what’s the problem is. I was baffled. As soon my contract is over I’m canceling.

These are the most underhanded people I have run across. One star is too much for fluent. They sneak in a nrw contract. Their business can't be on the level when they have to sneak in a contract. Three hundred dollars to move your service. Put you on hold for several minutes then come on and say extension is unavailable. I can only.equate their business practices to 5heivery. The beauty of the USA. Allow foriegn counties to do business here only to screw the citizens. Read their reviews.

Just got off the phone with them . They lied to me twice already today. First they told my wife renewed contract because they lowered the bill which is false and have proof . Now they are saying the upgraded our camera and that’s why we were locked in another 60 month contract . I paid for my 3 cameras upfront and never received any upgrade or lowering of bill. The gentleman Ramsey I spoke with was very rude and hung up on me . When I told them we were moving to nwt they told me I had to uninstall equipment and install in new place because they don’t service that area. When we signed up they said if we moved and they didn’t support area I could cancel without penalty. Now they send my wife a bogus contract with a false signature after they told me is was a verbal agreements. I’ll be forwarding all of this info to the media. They are falsifying documents with fake signatures.They didn’t even sign my wife’s name correctly they put a i where should have been a r. These guys are a joke.

One star is far too much for this unreliable, lying, sneaky, company!
I believe they had connected to my internet instead of their own tplink for data, they install faulty equipment that is out of date and does not work. They have terrible customer service and refuse to let you cancel or payout your contract. If you do not have your contract and request it they will not send it.
