"They are a poor run outfit..."

Poor service lied to me removed contacts on pool side of my house entries did not ask won’t fix the system rotten customer service.5 year contract will be up in May they don’t care have lied an never fixed this mess I’d give them a o minus if I could. Phone service is also rotten

"Using Fluent 1.5 years now..."

Using Fluent 1.5 years now, system works great and I like that they have the option to pay for your equipment monthly instead of up front. A couple tech issues but the tech support was able to get is resolved.

"I definitely wish I read the reviews..."

I definitely wish I read the reviews. My issues are as follows:
1. Poor customer service.
2. No call back (don't hold your breath when they tell you someone will call you back).
3. I've been trying to cancel for weeks and they refuse. Now they are telling me that they will send my file to a collection agency if I don't pay.
4. Threats from customer "care". They don't care.
5. Get hung up on if you ask for help and they don't want to listen to your concerns.
6. They don't listen, they talk over you. When asked to listen they are rude and say "you're not listening to me" then hung up on you instead of asking to hear your concern(s).
7. Not registered as a Corporation licensed to do business in Ontario, Canada. They actually ceased activity in Ontario on March 20, 2014 and this has never been resolved.

Summary - They are unprofessional and their system does not work. They have breached their Contract and there is no reason for them to get any new customers as they treat paying customers disrespectfully, without reason.

Steer clear!!

"Disnonest Fluent sales representative..."

I hd SAFE system. Fluent representative talked me into dropping SAFE and moving over to FLUENT. I told this representative, Beerjas Bath, that I had a contract with SAFE. He told me 3 different times because I asked him 3 different times, that, yes, FLUENT would send me a check to pay off SAFE for cancelling the Safe contract.
He even gave me a note on what to say to cancel the SAFE contract, and where to mail this cancellation letter. When I received the final bill from SAFE, he told me where to e mail it to so FLUENT could send me the check to give to SAFE. He said FLUENT would mail the check to me in my name and I could then deposit it in my bank and write a check from my bank account. He said FLUENT did not want SAFE to know that Fluent was dong this. Now Fluent says they will only send me a check for $350.00. My bill from SAFE was $2204.55. They say that since I did not get a written statement from their representative stating that FLUENT would pay the total bill, that I would only get what their contract states. It;s hidden in a letter in small print. I have gone through with the BBB of Utsah. They are closing the case because FLUENT stated that they would not reconsider the problem. I've written to the legal dept. for FLUENT and have not received a reply. I even wrote a letter to Mr. Graham Wood, the owner and CEO of FLUENT with no reply. DO NOT TRUST THE fluent representatives. I've left over 40 voicemail messages to Mr. Bath. He has not returned any calls. I have left him over 40 text messages and he has not responded to any of them. I've asked Fluent's Loyal Customer representatives to have Mr. Bath contact me so we can talk this over and all I get is "we will try." It's a shame how these people treat us. I am 75 years old, on Social Security and these people prey on us.

"Not worth even 1 star..."

Not worth even 1 star! This is the worst security company I've ever dealt with. After moving to my new home with our existing Fluent system we went 2 years not knowing that our system wasn't being monitored because we now live in an area they don't service, and yet still having to pay for their service because of the contract. This never came to my attention until I called, trying to get the system to work. After sending a tech who informed me, nothing could be done without updating our panel for much more money, we had to either continue paying for a useless service or buy out the contract. We choose that option. After we paid off the contract, I was assured we would no longer be billed. To no ones surprise, that was a lie since I just got nulled AGAIN! When I called for a refund, I once again wanted reassurance that I would no longer be billed and that our account was now closed. I was met with rude, impolite and impatient customer service representatives who almost acted as though I was the one who was being unreasonable. I've never been more disappointed in a security service than this one. I highly encourage anyone reading this to go somewhere else for your home security needs. This company is a joke.

"I would give less if I could..."

I would give less if I could. The sales person completely took advantage of my situation. I agreed to cameras and system for 2 years and even asked repeatedly if it was 2 years and the process of moving. I was told over and over yes two years and if I move then they will take the system out and re install. I knew I would need to move as I was in a domestic violence situation and when I moved they told me it would be $200 to take out and put into a new place. I decided to pay monthly for the service I was no longer using since I was not able to put it in my new place. I moved again and I knew it was almost two years and I called back to find out the exact date of ending of my contract and then I was informed that it was 5 years!. I tried to ask for a revision on my contract to honor the 2 years I was told and they just said no because I signed the contract and yet this person came into my home because it was raining and was so pushy on signing the contract that she just said "its only stating you agree to the two year" and blah blah blah so to get her out I rushed through things because I did not want to go through reading the entire thing word for word and wrongfully trusted the sales person was telling me the truth now im stuck with this for more than 3 more years which I have no use for. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS PLACE. the customer service is horrible as well. I asked if I can communicate through email as well since my days are stacked for a few months and they said yes for sure then said I can only call on their time which does not work for my time zone. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place. I wish I saw this 1.3 star rating first and usually, I do my research but the sales person was so pushy saying now or never and I was from a small town so don't have many opportunities to meet with such places. hard lesson learned trusting this company with my safety. They only care about making a quick buck.
