One star is to many for this company. The security service is absolutely worthless, items are low quality and having to be reset all of the time. They are sneaky with locking you into a contract l and will not let you cancel even if you try to pay the upfront fee and cost. Customer service reps are rude and not helpful. Do not recommend.

Terrible terrible service.. my mother old lady senior has been paying for service that has not been on the wall for years.. she has purchased medical fob and house key fobs and many other things and been charged for services that is not been on the wall in over 3 yrs but claim to be monitoring her with no system on the wall.. no one ever reached out to ask her why her services were changed or why she changed services.. she called in and canceled her services one the phone as she don’t speak and write english well.. she makes that very clear over the phone.. the agent told her she still owed 1170.00 approx and Amy mom told them to collect it once it’s done cancel it.. no need to call back and do

Monitor on the house.. it would have been February 2021. Being a Senior and losing her eye site medical papers to prove it she didn’t notice that so she has been billed for all these years and claimed they are monitoring her, when asked how would that work when there is no monitor on the wall and was disconnect years ago.. they told me she should have called and cancel it herself.. she has been paying for a service that was not even done or doing..I have spoked to 4 different numbers all pass the buck and make excuses and got hung up twice.. 69.29/mth for no services at all but claim they are monitoring her lol.. when asking them how they would know, well she should have cancelled it in written as it stated in big writing in the back as it gives you registered mail, fax, or personal delivery only not over the phone.. very sad.. crappy service and that tells you people are getting charged for nothing at all.. because no one has called all of the people on her list if the monitor is not on a wall or hooked up or battery low or anything. She should have gotten a call to see if she was ok.. well no unit on the wall how would they know something was wrong at the house.. monitoring nothing and have to pay.. bull crap service..tried on line first with agent and he didn’t know, then left message and got call back and then passed to 1-800-897-1037 passed the buck to 1-855-239-4826, then 1-855-828-5760, got one more to try that the first agent gave me three numbers to try.. pretty pretty sad way of taking advantage of a senior citizen.. I will pre-sue this. The contract was over 2021 and because she didn’t do it in writing they will keep doing it month to month is what they stated until she does that they didn’t care if she hooked up or not.. they stated also they knew she was not with them but until it’s done in written still will be charged month to month where the service is there or not.. very very very crapy

An update
28 days ago someone said they would send out a technician to look into our issue. Within ten days they promised.
Our panel has not worked properly in almost two years.
Every time I call, they hang up on me now. The company could care less about providing security to our home.
Some history behind that, I’m a caregiver for my father, the alarm has tripped several times, after the alarm has gone off, nearly 15 to 20 minutes go by before any calls are put out. If someone broke into our house, that time would allow a thief to not only gather anything they want, they could make themselves a meal and sit and enjoy it.
We pay nearly $50 a month for this protection!

Oh and our panel doesn't work and they won’t repair it

After months of contact about the registration with our local sheriff's office of our system, which they promised to do and is required by law, they simply stopped responding to emails or phone calls. Several times I was told excuses and lies about why they had failed to do their job. Absolutely the worst customer service ever - and I had to deal with the worst technology companies throughout my career. AVOID LIKE THE COVID!!

Completed the contract after 3 years and called to cancel. Talked to a lady and she confirmed contract was satisfied and would terminate services. They kept charging my credit card. I called and they stated I had to give them a 6 Month advance notice, otherwise it went for an additional 3 more years. I told them I had called to cancel services and had it confirmed with their employee before terminating and she stated the contract was complete. I told them I knew they recorded our conversation and go back and listen. I have talked to 6 or 7 different employees over the past year. They kept saying they would get back to me but never have. I got notice it was going to collection so I called and talked to their collection company and he sent me back to another one of Fluent's employees. He said just because their employee verified it, it did not cancel the contract. This company has no ethics and clearly do not stand behind their own employees. Last I checked, verbal contracts still exist in the state of Utah, and apparently they do too after reading reviews where they extended contracts on the phone without anything in writing. I'm sure we will be going to court.
Ironically, I just looked them up on the BBB for Utah and found over 500+ complaints in the past 3 years. Recognizing that most people will not file a complaint, that just tells you what kind of company this is. RUN AWAY....

If we could give zero stars we would!! These people don't have a clue on how to handle a business! And with all the reviews below, I can see that we aren't the only people this is happening too!! We all need to get together and get our lawyers involved! This has got to stop!

Where to start....
Have been using Fluent for 3.5 years now. Originally signed contract for 36 months. A few months after signing recieved an email asking me to sign 60 month e-contract. My reply to the email was such that a 36 month term was signed so why now asking for a new contract to be signed?....no response from Fluent. Follow up with a phone call a couple of weeks later and they stated will get back to me....never did.
Fast forward to now.....
Haven't used the system for anything but the doorbell camera the past couple of years so have made the decision to cancel service. Turns out Fluent had decided to forge a digital signature on a 60 month contract for me...how thoughtful of them. When approached via phone call they denied falsifying documents....then proceeded to send a copy in the mail to me. Fluent refuses to cancel services and advised me to seek legal representation in the matter....okay let's do this.
I have heard claims of such forgery over the past while so seems I am not the only one experiencing this. Am dumbfounded as to how such fraudulent companies are able to function, I guess it's because no one go after them.
Fortunately for me I do have the patience to follow through with their "seek legal representation" advice. Unfortunate for them as all costs of extra payments over the 36 months, legal, and punitive damages will now rest in their hands.

Worst company to deal with. Customer service is non-existent. The attitude and interaction with
most employees is confrontational! Not a customer friendly attitude, their rules are their rules and there is NO compromise! DO NOT BECOME A CUSTOMER!
