"Room was not particularly clean"

Room was not particularly clean; found several long blonde hairs in multiple places on the floor. The mirrors have not been wiped and were dusty. Overall not great, sorry.

Für ein oder zwei Übernachtungen ok. Lage ist perfekt, man ist schnell mit der Tram in der Innenstadt. CheckIn war unkompliziert. Leider war der Boden unseres Badezimmers nicht ganz sauber und das Inlet der Bettdecke hatte gelbe Flecken.

"Enjoyable stay"

Easy check in. Fairly modern decors. Good link to city centre and airport. Clean rooms but there were burn marks on the carpet. Enjoyed the stay though. Brilliant customer service on reception. The night shift staff ( did not get his name) when I stayed was so courteous and welcoming.

"Amsterdam sightseeing"

Lovely clean and modern hotel. Quiet nights and area. Perfect for us visiting Amsterdam. Tram stop right outside hotel which was brilliant. Bought 3 day pass for 17euro each. Tram no 2 takes you directly into centre and back approx 25 minutes each way. Very regular trams. Staff were helpful, pleasant and always at hand to help. Rooms were spacious and had everything needed for us. We had breakfast there 2 days on the trot which was a lovely hot and cold buffet with any coffees, teas and juices for 18euro each. Great start to the day of sightseeing and walking around the city. Would definitely use XO hotels again especially this one. No bar in hotel but lovely bar down the street 10 minutes tops walking distance. Felt like a safe area to walk around.

Kamer was schoon en netjes goed ontbijt lieve mensen alleen de koffie machine was lek de watervulling dat was jammer wel doorgeven toen ik weg ging verder zit het hotel vlak bij de metro.

"Poor service and lack of assistance "

I stayed with my boyfriend, and we were given separate beds. I tried requesting a room with a double bed, but they didn’t offer me the option or make an effort to find an alternative. Additionally, it was my boyfriend’s birthday, and I asked if they could leave something in the room as a gesture—a birthday greeting, some chocolates, or a small sign saying “Happy Birthday,” for example. They said they would, but they never did.
Additionally, the hotel was far from the center of Amsterdam: a 12-minute walk to the tram and about 38 minutes by train to the city center.

It is so easy to check in and check out at the computers next to the reception : it's swift and there are no problems with it, used it several times already to make my key myself, love it !
The hotel is always very clean ( no hairs is shower and it's clean under the bed too ) !
Love this hotel !

"Nice place, calm quater, Service to improve"

Nice place in a calm quater and close to city center.
Staff is friendly and rooms are clean.
Communication, room service and breakfast buffet should be improved
> Email exchange or special request for allergies are limited or wrong (fortunately this time in a positive way)
- The breakfast has some diary free margarine. During Email exchange they said they do not propose it. Of course in comparison to other place in Amsterdam the choice is limited for diary free food and vegetarian.

> No Shampoo or Shower gel in the Room...

There is a button in the room for "do not disturb" and "tidy the room". The light cannot be turned of which is annoying during the night.
