"Hôtel très sympa"

Hôtel très sympa, chambre spacieuse.
Le chauffage au sol dans la salle de bain est très agréable.
En revanche, dans la chambre le chauffage était à 22 degrés mais il y avait de l’air frais qui sortait, et impossible d’augmenter la température au delà.
Nous avons eu des moments où on avait froid dans la chambre.

Personnel à l’écoute et bienveillant.

The room was great, very large, with big windows. The bed was very comfy and the coffee in the morning just perfect!
The bus station is across the road and in 20 minutes you are in the centre. Amsterdam is a great city! I will come again!

"Mooi en rustig gelegen hotel"

Mooi hotel. Rustig gelegen buiten het centrum. Nette kamer. Lekker ontbijt. Het fruitsap is wel niet zo goed omwille van toevoeging van teveel water. In de kamer ligt tapis plein, wat niet zo hygiënisch is.

"The worst experience ever"

The worst experience ever. I will never stay in this hotel ever again.Under one night the smoke alarm was triggered three times. Not one single person from reception tended to their duties to inform the guests what was happening. We stood outside in the cold.
The hotels walls are paper thin. All noise from the neighbors were heard in our room clean.
The hotel location is also horrible. Nothing around the hotel that's worth visiting. No kitchen in the hotel so you can go ahead and forget about dinner.
One thing is for sure, I will never stay in this establishment ever again and I strongly advise everyone to avoid.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and near to the train station… I would also like to say thank you to the staff who changed my room too basically a suite, because it was my birthday. Appreciated!

"Great hotel with easy transport to the city"

This is a great hotel just what we were looking for. It was much more affordable than staying in the city centre and had a bus straight across the road that took you to the city in 20mins. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean and comfortable.

"Terrible Experience at XO Hotel City Center Amsterdam"

I had an incredibly disappointing stay at XO Hotel City Center in Amsterdam, and I would strongly advise against booking here. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare.

Firstly, we were robbed during our stay, and despite bringing this to the attention of the hotel staff, no one seemed interested in helping. The situation was made worse by the hotel’s incompetent manager, who was completely unhelpful and showed no concern for our situation. It felt as though they just wanted to brush everything under the rug.

On top of that, the room was in terrible condition. It was dirty and had a foul smell that made the stay even more uncomfortable. It’s clear that cleanliness and maintenance are not priorities for this hotel.

Overall, I would strongly recommend avoiding XO Hotel at all costs. There are plenty of other hotels in Amsterdam where you can expect much better service, safety, and hygiene. This place was an absolute disaster, and I regret choosing it for my trip.
