Great hotel with tram stop outside the door. Highly recommend this place, only a few minutes into dam square. Room spotless, nice toiletries and the most comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast too - no bar/restaurant but there is a supermarket behind the hotel if you want alcohol. Staff are also brilliant - i will be back 😉

"Great location."

This was a nice hotel in a very nice part of Amsterdam. The room was quite small, but the hotel staff was extremely helpful. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the VanGogh museum and even the Rijksmuseum. The public transportation was very convenient and was easy to use. There were several nice restaurants, coffee/pastry shops, and even a grocery store in the immediate area. The area felt quite safe, and we had an excellent stay here.

We loved our stay at XO hotels park west. The room was perfect; we had a large double room and I’m so glad I chose that room. The staff were friendly and very helpful! Easy check in & check out.

The tram stop outside the hotel wasn’t in use but honestly that didn’t bother us. The train is a 10 minute walk away which isn’t a problem either. We really enjoyed getting the train into Centraal and Zaandam.

I’d definitely stay at this hotel again if I was to come back to Amsterdam. Some people might say it’s out the way, or not close enough to Centraal for them but once you’ve figured out how to work public transport, it’s not really hard and literally a 10 min journey on the train to Centraal.

I could not fault my stay, thank you!

"Very poor room!"

Stayed a few nights here last week and very disappointed. First of all our room had a massive pillar on the left side of the bed which reduced our space considerably. We then had a shower and the drainage was so poor in the shower that we couldn’t have more than 5 minutes in there before it overfilled. The TV didn’t work half of the time with it being a black screen. We also didn’t have windows that could be opened however our friends did, who stayed about 8 doors down? The AC worked about twice when we needed it to…

Overall not happy and don’t think we will return.

"Great stay, very happy to recommend!"

The staff were very friendly and helpful and dealt with my various queries quite efficiently. The room was great, bed very comfortable and it was good to be a little out of the centre of Amsterdam with a lovely view of a large square with a wild grassed, but tidy appearance.

There is a large Spar and a very good Italian restaurant next door and a tram and bus stop is about six minutes walk away through a quiet and pleasantly forested residential area. Trams and buses to the centre take about twenty minutes and the other way to Schiphol airport about thirty minutes.

Breakfast was really good and I thought it was worth 18 euros! If you don't want to lash out, then the Spar has good and cheaper alternatives to offer.

My one criticism was the room cleaning, which was really sloppy for a hotel of this standard. I came in one night to no sugar replenishment and dirty tea mugs still sitting there! Small things maybe, but I've just spent another night in a more modest hotel near Ede and my first experience of room cleaning here was a very much better one, with much greater attention to detail.

I'd be very happy to stay at this Artemis hotel again and it was a very positive experience!

"Room sink was not cleaned everyday"

Room sink was not cleaned everyday. Housekeeping woke me up at 9:30am on the date of departure asking me if I'm checking out. It felt exactly as being told to leave. Very unprofessional.

"Small details"

Good quiet location in front of a nice park, pretty large room but a few small details missing as : the fitness center , the hand soap , large shower towel , more choices at breakfast , something in the mini bar

Tiszta, szép szoba, kedves személyzet, finom reggeli. A szálloda elhelyezkedése jó, minden főbb villamos és busz megáll előtte. Emiatt a reptérre kijutás és a városközpontba bejutás is nagyon egyszerű. Egyedüli negatívum, hogy az utca felöli szobák zajosak.
