"Tired hotel, friendly efficient staff"

Ok so it’s a city centre hotel. It’s basic but all we needed as were out all day anyway. The decor is tired, but rooms are clean enough. Our first room had wet patches on the carpet possibly from issues with the air conditioning on the floor below. This was pointed out and staff remedied the situation the following morning with a different room which was bigger and cleaner.. towels could do with a refresh as some are getting thin. Breakfast was good and with no limit on how long we could leave luggage on last day was a bonus.

Location was good close to sloterdijk station, the room was cosy with great view on canals but the windows were really dirty with big spiders on them, reception told they clean the windows once a month, the bedsheets were comfy but the bed is little soft, there is no soap dispenser in the bathroom, they give you 30ml plastic containers of bath gel and its not convenient to use it to wash the hands especially when you're staying for 7 nights like us, also no cup for toothbrush, they claim to have coffee machine in the room but give you 2 coffee tabs, you have to go to reception and ask again and again, when i say thank you instead of nice answer they said 'its ok', we stayed for 7 nights so at least 14 tabs should be in the room, as we checked in we saw rubbish left from previous guests,in the dust bin and on the floor, we told the reception and no one came to take it, next day we told them again and they asked to take out from room and collected from the corridor, i fins the service rude, not professional

"Sehr gutes Hotel in ruhiger Lage"

Sehr gutes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Ca. 20 min mit dem Fahrrad in Stadtmitte. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück was aber zusätzlich 18 € kostet. Fahrradverleih im Hotel. Check in und check out sehr unkompliziert und schnell. Modernes Design allerdings sehr dunkel. Ich war eine Woche im Hotel und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt

"No hot water and apologies"

No hot water. We informed a receptionist in early evening after check-in, and we were told there’s nothing they can do about it until 9:30am tomorrow morning when their “guy” can come in to fix it. They did not offer us a different room or other solution. The next day we left for the day and came back to the same room to find no hot water again. We went and informed a different receptionist at the time, and we were told the other receptionist did not leave a note and there’s nothing they can do about it. So we stayed there for two nights with no hot water or any apologies.

"We liked the large room"

We liked the large room, with all the comforts and very comfortable beds. Bathroom with large shower and with all the products for personal hygiene. We liked the Nespresso machine. However, the cleaning was not always sufficient and the minibar did not cool. Very expensive breakfast.

Comfortable, quiet room. this is a great option for your stay.

Great hotel, nice, clean, and comfortable. It’s not centric but there’s a tram station at the door and Metro is also near

"Lousy stay"

Lousy stay.
In the first place I would like to talk about the staff, never before have I had to interact with such rude and careless people of the guests. Secondly, it is not possible that in 4 nights the room was cleaned only once, despite the "please clean room" sign displayed from the morning at 8 am until late afternoon. For the price paid this is outrageous to this I add that the bathrooms were put broken and dirty towels.
I would add that several times this problem has been pointed out to the front desk and nothing has changed. I strongly advise against this hotel. The only good thing is the nearby public transportation.
