"Scam"

If I could give zero stars I would. Ovago has been an absolute nightmare to work with. Avoid at all costs. The customer care team and every person I have talked to has been absolutely useless. They lied to me repeatedly about the airline canceling my flight and not providing an alternative flight. When I contacted the airline directly I was told that was not the case and they offered me a flight on the spot. Meanwhile, Ovago had initiated a cancellation of the entire trip/itinerary and the airline received the request, which canceled everything. Mind you, this is mid holiday season, the busiest time to fly. We purchased our tickets months ago to avoid this. Now I am left without a ticket or an answer less than a week before my trip date. Anytime I call customer service I am told someone will call me in 24 hours with no follow up. I have called them over 20 times in the last few weeks and they transfer and bounce me around, leaving me on hold excessively; only to tell me the same exact script each time I get a hold of someone. Save yourself the stress and hassle, avoid Ovago.

Update: it has been a month and a half of attempting to get a refund for our tickets after this mess created by Ovago, and we still have not received our money back. Customer service keeps sending us through the same circles where we get told a supervisor will call back within a certain amount of time and we never hear back. It is getting past the point of frustration. Don’t test your luck with this agency, they are probably the worst out there.

I was very happy to get my tickets thru Ovago. It was really getting late, prices were going up each days. I had specific dates that I needed to fly, Greyson was very helpful and able to find me flights that I wanted. It was an international trip with multi city flights. Everything was confirmed within an hour.

"I bought a flexible ticket"

I bought a flexible ticket, two weeks before the flight I asked if it was possible to advance it. the answer was that I had to pay a difference of 405 dollars, when on the airline's website the ticket if bought new cost 466 dollars. Nice service by Ovago for having spent more than 100 dollars to have the flexible ticket. Oh, I forgot, the request made 5 days before, I had to write 3 emails and call on the phone before receiving a response. terrible service.

I’m currently facing lot of struggles coz of that. I’ve to change my return date they are asking 1000 dollars more for that and they made me pay 100 dollars extra for seat telling there were no available seats in the plane. Also they have requested for wheelchair assistance without my knowledge and requested more money for that. Now I want to cancel my return ticket and book directly with the airlines. But I’m not sure whether I’ll get the refund amount or not

I usually book flights on my own through Skyscanner.com or directly with the airlines. I recently booked the flight through OVAGO for 4 people to Indonesia. I found a good price on Skyscanner.com for the tickets but only 2 tickets out of 4 were available at that price, the other ones were much more expensive. Then I called OVAGO and the best and friendliest travel agent Cian helped me to 1st find the tickets at the desirable price, book them, find the best seats on all flights for free and explain in details about the timing and layovers.bWe even became friends while we spoke about different trips and vacations. It was truly the service at it's best! I think Cian deserves a promotion, he is a responsible, friendly and professional agent!
