"Trials automatically roll into plans w/no advance notice - but responsive customer service"

I am updating my review to 3 stars, because the company's customer service is very responsive and took my original review seriously. They reached out and asked me how they can make it right, which included discounts and other training materials, along with a refund of the renewal.

I can not (in good conscious) give it higher than a 3-star rating, as I never actually used the service. So I cannot comment on how effective or user-friendly it is. Website seems easy enough to navigate, which is a plus.

I had signed up for a paid trial and after realizing I didn't really have time for it, I had cancelled. Unfortunately, I did not hold onto the cancellation request for the last 5 months. And I had not realized the cancellation was not completed, as I got charged for the next 6 months. (Yes this was my fault for not keeping the confirmation). I reached out again, as I was charged $120. However, it is stated in the Terms of Use:
"A trial subscription provides you access to the Service for a specified period, as it is outlined when you sign up for the trial. Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, your access to the Service will automatically continue and it will seamlessly transition into the subscription plan. In such a case you will automatically be charged without further notice."

I was fully expecting to take the $120 hit, since I did not confirm the cancellation several months ago, nor did I hold onto a copy of my request. The fact that they read reviews and reached out makes me feel better. I did ask that they consider changing their methods and start to email customers when renewals are coming up. But I would suggest anyone considering using The Doggy Plan to just mark their calendar for renewals and to hold onto confirmations (if need be).

"I did not subscribe to this program"

I did not subscribe to this program, but have been charged nearly 3 times for a subscription to a product I’ve never received or accessed. The only emails I’ve received are the payment receipts from PayPal. Beware of this company!

"No idea who these guys are"

No idea who these guys are. Charged me for 3 months.

Company contacted me and straightened things out. Thank you.

I absolute hate companies that roll over free trials without notice. They know this will happen more often than not. We still don’t know how we ended up subscribed. So a friendly reminder would have gone a long ways to avoiding all this hassle.

"Terrible"

Terrible. The videos are rubbish AI generated voiced badly mistimed over a seemingly not much related video in another language I think. However, the worst of it is, you sign up to a subscription without realising which is twice the price. Suddenly got a 119.99 bill and the only notification was from PayPal. Nothing from doggy-plan. No reminders, nothing. I had no idea. Hadn't used it for over 5 months.

EDIT. After a little to-ing and fro-ing, I did get a full refund for the surprise payment. I hope they change wording and make it clearer what you are signing up to in future and let you gave a taster of 1 video before you decide to buy so you can see what they actually are like but that's unlikely. Anyway, I have a refund without too much of a fight.

"This is a scam"

This is a scam. It's unclear from the start that you're purchasing a subscription rather than a one-time training program. I sent an email per the company's cancellation instructions in July. They still charged me for August, September, and October. I emailed again today and threatened litigation. That got a response, and I took a screen shot of the confirmation of cancellation. We shall see if they actually stop charging me or not.

"Rip off company"

Rip off company. Avoid at all costs. So much for Doggy Plan, more like dodgy plan. They take renewed subscriptions at an inflated cost and don't even email to remind you of the upcoming renewal and just take your money, not giving you a chance to cancel before the renewal date. When you try to get a refund on the same day they say it doesn't comply with there T&Cs. They have just taken £120 off of me for a service I didn't use after the first few days. Absolutely scandalous.
