Order was not placed at all! It was pending 8 days after we placed the order. Finally when we got it, it did not fit the ear rings we ordered. Seriously considering my future purchases here since this past go around has been simply a disaster. Folks at the store were friendly but absolutely incompetent. Got order wrong multiple times and blamed their call center.

"Very restrictive delivery options"
Very restrictive delivery options. Was given a strict time frame to sign in person at my house to receive the package. Was unable to pick up at a UPS store during times that worked for me or pick another time window. When contacting UPS they informed me these restrictions came from Blue Nile and not them. Some of us work between 10-12AM.

"What happened to professionalism at Blue Nile?"
I have always been happy with things I have bought from Blue Nile. I was very disappointed to open the box to find our $23,000 diamond earrings to be be banging around in the box loosely and not properly displayed. Makes me wonder how much effort was spent in properly grading and building the earrings.

"Order never received..."
I placed an order in early December for delivery on or around the holidays and as a birthday present. The order was "lost" at a UPS facility. I only learned that by reviewing the shipper's tracking information. Blue Nile never reached out to me to tell me it was lost, nor did they offer to ship a replacement out immediately or on an expedited basis once I notified them it was lost. No communication for almost a month, and all initiated by me. Needless to say, the gift date came and went and I had nothing to present. Totally disappointed because I know I paid more for what I thought was a better buying experience.

We purchased the 1ct.tw. diamond earrings in a gold martini setting for our daughter’s 30th birthday! She was thrilled!
We ordered them 4 days before her birthday celebration (shame on us!) but BlueNile promised it would arrive safely and on time even with a New Year’s holiday. Their promise was as good as gold! 5 stars for customer service and jewelry!!

"I love BN"
I love BN. My husband bought my wedding ring in 2007 i bought his to match. Then he bought me an eternity band of diamonds for our 10 yr anniversary. He passed away and for our 15 anniversary i bought another band for myself. I wanted to build of the existing two and bought a 3 band for my 50th bday of the "same description size" and it was not at all like the others. Disappointing, and i didn't want to return it but for the cost i wanted it to fit with the others.
Maybe a visit to the store is in my future. I just want the same discount.

"Disappointing Experience Due to System Glitch"
We ordered the item to be delivered to the Blue Nile showroom. The system never notified us that the item was delivered. It was stuck "In Production" for about three weeks, saying it would ship that day. Then the next day, it said it would ship that day, and so on. I engaged support via chat, which just gave me the automated bot response that it would ship that day. Several days later, I finally escalated the bot to a human. She was very helpful and said she would get to the bottom of it. The next day, I found out the item was actually delivered to the showroom more than two weeks prior.
When I confirmed the showroom had the item, the salesperson said I was running up against my return window. Really, Blue Nile has a system issue that did not notify us on the item delivery, and you are going to tell me I only have a week left on the return window?
Once we got to the showroom, the gentleman was very helpful.
But overall, not a great experience! Order was placed on 12/13, order delivered to showroom around 12/30, we finally got notification it was delivered, only after calling support, on 1/17.
