"Returning Customer :)"
The process from start to finish couldn’t have been better. I previously ordered the engagement ring through Blue Nile and this order was for the wedding band. The products themselves are packaged beautifully and my wife couldn’t be happier.

"DO NOT TRUST BLUE NILE or anything they tell you!"
Blue Nile will lie to you and then not take responsibility for anything when they don't deliver on their empty promises. I ordered a VERY expensive diamond (Over $24k) and explained to them the importance of the delivery date as I am leaving to go on vacation with my girlfriend and I plan to propose on that trip. They told me that they would give special attention to my order and try to ship early. I followed up to remind them of the importance of the delivery date. They were supposed to overnight it on 9/23/24. I called and emailed multiple times before and on the day of shipment to remind them again. They waited until after 7pm to "overnight" the diamond and I have cleared my whole schedule today to be home to sign for the diamond. I have a full schedule tomorrow and If I cancel meetings tomorrow, it's going to cost me about $7,000 in business revenue. I tried to reschedule the meeting and was told “We prefer to do business with you but we cannot afford to push the project back so if we can’t proceed as planned, we’ll have to go with our backup vendor.” This is going to cost me $7,000 because Blue Nile does not honor their promises! The delivery date and time was 12 PM on 9/24/24 and I get a message from UPS today explaining that it will now be delivered on 9/25. I have worried about this all weekend and did everything I could to set the proper expectation. Now, my jeweler won’t get the diamond in time to place it in the setting before my vacation and I may not be able to propose on our vacation as planned. Of course Blue Nile used the “We cannot control the carrier/ shipping” excuse but I categorically dismiss it because they waited until after 7pm at night to ship it! Why couldn’t they ship at a reasonable time on 9/23 and give UPS at least a chance to get it here on time?! Why? Because they do not are care about customers or making good on their promises, only making empty promises to make a sale! What a mess! DO NOT TRUST BLUE NILE or anything they tell you!

"They lost my ring! DO NOT buy from blue nile"
DO NOT buy from Blue Nile. They lost my ring; their customer service agents were very rude!
I had a horrible experience. Not only they lost my wedding band but also they had horrible customer service!
I don't even know if I have a wedding band before my wedding!
NO NOT buy from Blue Nile unless you want to ruin your wedding experience.

"Fake silver bracelet"
I purchased a few pieces of jewelry from Blue Nile many years ago and they were my favorite pieces. In 2022 I purchased an infinity sterling silver bracelet, a few hundred $, and expected a high-quality product.
Big disappointment.
The 'silver' started to flake off. First I thought there was an issue with the rhodium plating coming off, but after some research, it turns out that sterling silver should not flake off.
It's most likely a silver-plated bracelet.
I contacted customer service and they explained that the dark spots are from the oxidization. Yes, I would understand that, but I have never had flaking sterling silver issues. There were silver flakes all over my skin when I put it on.
I think it's fake silver.
UPDATE:
After a few weeks of back and forth emails with Customer Service at Blue Nile I was provided inconsistent information.
No lifetime warranty is being honored.
The customer service acknowledged that it ‘was most unusual’ what was happening with the bracelet based on the pictures.
I was asked to return the bracelet for inspection, and was told that most likely outcome would be a replacement, I was sent a link to the bracelet they had available.
The bracelet looked different/thinner to the one I had so I asked multiple times to confirm its weight. No answer from customer service.
Finally I asked the customer representative on the Blue Nile website, who was not aware of the back and forth regarding the issue. I was told that the bracelet weight is 2.7grams.
My bracelet weights ~13grams.
I took a screen shot and sent it to customer service, who simply told me that 2.7g ‘is not possible’, but still has not clarified what that bracelet weights
I agreed to replacement if they had the same bracelet, but I did not want to exchange a 13g piece for 2.7g one, I paid $200 for. I have asked for a refund multiple times.
Huge disappointment.
First customer service acknowledged the issue with their piece of their jewelry, they offered I send it for inspection.
I was told that upon review, that will take up to 12 weeks, I’d most likely get a replacement.
I received a link how the replacement would look like, and it turned out to be ~20% of the weight of my bracelet, so much thinner.
When I pointed out the issue with the information above, I was told that they cannot replace it as they don’t have the item.
The lifetime warranty is not being honored.
One more thing:
I wrote a one star review for this item on the Blue Nile site over a week ago. It has never been posted there. The reviews must be filtered and they allow only the good ones to be available to the public.

"Bad experience with damaged ring"
I recently purchased two wedding rings from Blue Nile, having them shipped all the way to London from the United States. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Upon receiving the rings, I noticed that the bride's ring had a noticeable black mark on the inside—something that should have been caught during a proper inspection before shipping.
When I contacted customer service, the options they provided were far from satisfactory. They offered to send the ring back for repair, but this would take an unacceptable two months, leaving me close to my wedding abroad in the Philippines with no guarantee of having the ring in time. Their other options were just as disappointing: either accept a refund for the flawed ring, which would leave me with one unmatched ring, or pay out of pocket to have it repaired by a local jeweler in London.
Given the distance this ring had to travel, it's frustrating that Blue Nile did not take the necessary care to ensure everything was perfect. The lack of a viable solution and the long wait for repairs have left me deeply unsatisfied. I expected better quality control and customer service from a company with such a reputation, especially when dealing with something as important as wedding rings.
Edit: They did come back to me and offer a partial refund to cover local repair costs. So that was better than nothing

"Poor quality control / repair process"
1- we received a poor quality ring where a stone fell out in less than 8 months of occasional use. We spent almost $4k.
2- we were reassured that blue Nile stands by quality and will rectify the issue when received. We paid and insured the ring, sending it in for evaluation/ repair.
3- even though blue Nile agreed it was just normal use, they insisted we must pay for the repair bc they recommend we should have been having someone look at the ring every six months to check it (news to us?) they recommend using blue Nile to repair due to their high quality repair process.
4- we pay for the repair. Blue Nile replaces the stone but also adds extra metal around it that sticks out / snags on material. It doesn’t match the rest of the ring.
5- we send pictures and blue Nile agrees to repair the issue
6- we received the ring back in the exact same condition/ metal sticking out. There was no repair done. Customer service says they’ve done all they can.
7- we ask to receive replacement ring since they can’t seem to fix the issue. They refuse.
This issue has been going on since March. I’ve now not had a proper ring nearly as long as I had it before the stone fell out. We are so disappointed as we had several blue Nile pieces before. I learned they were acquired by a different company in 2022 so apparently service and quality has gone way downhill.

"Great customer service"
I chose the wrong size for my wedding ring, and I had only a few days to change it before traveling. The customer service agents helped me get a new ring and a refund for the one I sent back, all on time for the wedding.

"Outstanding Caliber"
I'm really happy with the quality of the diamond necklace I recently purchased. The setting is immaculate, and the diamonds glitter brightly. With thorough product descriptions and friendly customer assistance, internet purchasing was a breeze. The item was delivered on schedule and in excellent condition. I will most certainly go back to buy more exquisite jewelry.
