At store experience was good. The relentless texting was ridiculous and a deterrent to future business. The customer service of the boss/competent lady at the store was excellent. (This website with 4 stars meaning "great" and 5 stars meaning "excellent" typifies the excess and abuse of modern "technology".) The requirement to log in to do the review I was asked to do via email is exactly the outrageous abuse of "technology" that is characteristic of Blue Nile - only allowed to "use their services" to post the requested review AFTER logging in to one of my private (email, Google, Facebook) accounts! Shameless!

I had been looking online for a gift for myself and I knew I wanted a mixed metal and circle necklace. I had been looking for a long time and I saw more options on Blue Nile. I waited until the necklace I wanted was on sale. I read the reviews which were all really good so that made me feel more comfortable about my purchase. Then I got a discount from using my American Express credit card. I am very pleased with my purchase and the overall online guest experience was great! I’d highly recommend buying from Blue Nile as I didn’t have any issues with shipping or communication.

I have never been disappointed with anything I"ve ever ordered from Blue Nile. When I've needed to return items, it was easy, fast. Their stuff is beautiful, high quality, reasonably priced, and wrapped so nicely. You can't go wrong with Blue Nile.

The buying processes was smooth.

However, when I was returning the package blue nile has lost the return, and tried to shift the blame onto me.

They asked if I had left the package in a unsafe location. Although they were attempting to blame me, I gave the package directly to a Fedex clerk at a Fedex location. Unless the employees working there were untrustworthy I gave the package the best chance to be returned.

It was a month and a half until I got the return after mentioning the Better Business Bureau.
