As a reference, prior to me purchasing my husband’s wedding band, he had a wonderful experience buying (& resizing) my engagement and wedding band.
When his wedding band arrived, he found it was a bit too large. We both agree Blue Nile has an excellent return policy and we had the new ring within weeks of the return. Their customer service is spot on and I have zero complaints.
I’d recommend Blue Nile to anyone hoping to buy a high quality diamond, engagement and wedding band products.

If you decide to return anything after one month, expect to lose about 50% of what you just paid. These guys will try to squeeze every penny out of you.

Buying my beautiful diamond tennis bracelet was easy. I feel like I got a good deal for a lovely bracelet. I love my bracelet. I would caution people that clasping it to put it on is difficult to do by yourself. As far as my shopping experience it went well. THEN I decided to open a Blue Nile credit card. That is when my experience soured. I did this for a number of reasons, however, I wish I had just put the purchase on my existing Visa card. I had a VERY difficult time getting my payment to Blue Nile. Part of the problem is Blue Nile, but I believe the bigger problem is Comeinty(sp?) Bank, which is the bank that issues the credit card. I tried paying my bill several times, before the date due, but ran across several problems. I received a late charge, even though I thought I had made a payment. I had to stop payment on a check because it wasn't being processed. When I called this bank they were VERY uncooperative and unhelpful. They wanted to charge me a fee for paying over the phone, even though I had made several attempts to pay in other ways before. I recommend Blue Nile, but I suggest not getting their credit card.

"Hope You Never Have To Make a Return"
Our experience was less than satisfactory. Your process for filling and shipping orders is very good --- your process for returns or exchanges is "terrible". The color of rubies in the earrings were pink and not red. It took over 30 days to process the return and in the end you responded that you were out of stock and could not replace the item. Your customer service staff indicated that your return/exchange process was convoluted and not very good. Two days after we finally received credit we got an ad from Blue Nile indicating that the earrings in the color we returned were now on sale for $400 less than what we paid for them --- you just told us you were out of stock on the item and now you drop the price significantly???

"Trusted enough to buy wife’s wedding band"
Bought from BN a couple times, impressed enough to to order my wife’s wedding band. Price was significantly cheaper for like bands locally, which allowed me to get a step nicer band. My wife is in between sizes, but long story short, when first ring didn’t fit perfect, BN customer service stepped up & processed the exchange quickly & upgraded shipping as we we’re getting close to the big day. Second ring was perfect. Wife loves it.
