"Two orders late and poor customer service"
I’ve made 3 recent orders with Mixam, the first arrived with no issues (about a month ago) but the second two have been a nightmare.
The first was lost somewhere between DHL and Mixam, it took several chases and in the end it was DHL who raised a review and low and behold, a few hours later Mixam finally got back in touch with me.
The 3rd order was ordered 2 weeks ago, and again I’ve had to chase a dispatch date (originally estimated to be a week ago) to be told they’ve moved their production and had lots of problems which is effecting orders.
Why wasn’t this advised somewhere on the website when ordering?
My order is now apparently estimated for dispatch this Wednesday, so will be over a week late. Such poor customer service which is a shame as their prices are very competitive.
Perhaps a case of you get what you pay for…

Mixam were the cheapest option for my hardback book printing, but the results were great! I only ordered 1 book but they sent me 2! My dissertation, which I designed my front cover for in Canva and aligned it using their cover design tool, came out looking great! Delivery was slow however

We have used mixam as a business for about a year now and to begin with have had good prompt service, however the past month has really gone down hill. I would usually not write a bad review and go by how they were previously, however we have not had any updates on delays to print or delivery, I have had to chase. The first time I was told I would receive an email update - didn't get one, secondly I was tolder they had moved factories hence the delays but our order was ready to be dispatched and was going out that day (a week later but fine) to then log in today with it still saying that it was in production and then when I spoke to customer services they said it hadn't been sent and was in the list to go today and when I questioned it they backtracked and said the page had not been updated! Eventually they told me again that it had not been sent yet, but I should receive a dispatch email today...I'm not holding out much hope!
If there is delays please tell your customers and keep us updated and certainly don't lie...we would appreciate that a lot more, instead of now having to find an alternative printer to rush through the order and costing more money to rush it through.
