They merged with Taylor-Rose, they are the same team. They are not reliable. They do not respect customers. They have no value as lawyers. They do not analyse the documents. They do not answer emails or calls with correct information. They don't know which lawyer has the documents. You have to chase them many times to get any information. They do not notify when they receive the money or when the procedures are carried out. I was given confidential information from another client.

Se fusionaron con Taylor-Rose, son el mismo equipo. No son confiables. No respetan a los clientes. No tienen ningún valor como abogados. No analizan los documentos. No contestan mails ni llamadas con información correcta. No saben qué abogado tiene los documentos. Tienes que perseguirlos muchas veces para tener alguna información. No avisan cuando reciben el dinero ni cuando se realizan los trámites. Me dieron información confidencial de otro cliente.

"Truly dreadful company that has now…"

Truly dreadful company that has now gone bust suprise suprise. Only been waiting 16 months for a rectification on a final completion bill which they never transferred across my payment for a service charge on the flat purchased. Out of pocket and now having to complete a creditors form to get monies back. I’ll give a minumum of 5 years if lucky. What upsets me is that they knew they were going bust

I took my Mother to see a solicitor at Borehamwood Branch on 19th August to arrange her Will & lasting Power of Attorney, the solicitor did nothing I had to chase chase chase him, on the 22nd September I received an email to say the draft was sent to you last Friday please see attached a copy, the Will that was sent to me wasn’t my mothers it was another lady so I now have all her personal details. I phoned to him to tell him, he said sorry we are closing our doors tomorrow so now we are left with no Will or Power of Attorney
This is absolutely disgusting

This is an awful company. I’m forever chasing them up to complete my purchase but nobody replies to emails promptly. My simple conveyancing task has so far taken 3 months and seems no closer to completion than when I first started. I would avoid this company (and its new partner) at all costs.

Paralegal and onboarding assistant never response to client from the beginning, until informed the head or the directors. Even this, but only just received phone call to say sorry. They did not reply emails and hold up everything without communicate with client.

After lots of chasing, just received phone call that they merged with Taylor-Rose. The team will also transfer to Taylor-Rose. They did not respect clients. I will not have confidence on Taylor-Rose as they are same team.

Too bad.

"Absolutely awful firm"

Absolutely awful firm. I appointed Hodders through Conveyancing Index to handle the sale of my house. I completed all the paperwork needed from my end promptly. After almost 4 months they have done virtually nothing and I have changed to another firm. During the time with Hodders I was chasing them repeatedly by telephone and email. The direct phone line to the solicitor handling my sale was never answered and he wouldn't respond to my voicemails or emails. Often the main office phone line would not be answered either and on the odd occasion it was, all they did was try to transfer me to the appropriate solicitor, always unsuccessfully. I eventually received a refund of some of the money I had paid upfront which I am not happy with. I should have received lt all back plus compensation.
Do not have anything to do with Hodders.

"DO NOT USE - NOT TRUST WORTHY"

We instructed these guys back in April. At first they were responsive (after chasing on some occasions). however now we have had 0 response, no calls are going through and their website is not working! I am on the phone land registry currently to make sure they haven't done anything dodgy and shut shop and run. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. and for anyone else sharing this experience file a complaint to the law solicitors regulator.

Gave Hodders Law an instruction to proceed but got absolutely zero replies to emails and phone calls don't get relayed on since.

Would not recommend this joke of a firm to anyone

"THE WORST LAW FIRM EVER"

The worst company ever. Just found out they have gone into administration whilst I am at the pre exchange and completion stage. It has been 5 months of agony with them and to find this out when I’m so close to the end has brought a deal of distraught and heartbreak. I hope they never come back into practice. Evil
