"After 17 years worrying about the car…"

After 17 years worrying about the car hire experience i'm going to have on holiday, it's refreshing to have an honest experience with Avia at Dubrovnik airport. The lady was polite and explained all my insurance options and how much they cost, didn't force me into any of them, and didn't try and sell me any add-ons. It was quick and painless, as was the drop-off. The car was new and clean with just a few of the usual scratches you come to expect. Will use again. Thank you Avia.

"Eine einzige Abzocke"

Eine einzige Abzocke. Zuerst 50 € extra für Fährbenutzung. Dann 2 Kreditkarten abgelehnt mit dem Hinweis es wären Internetbanken. Bei der 3. Kreditkarte
( Hanseatic Bank ) würde das blocken der Kaution von 1100 € nicht funktionieren. Man könne mir den Wagen nicht geben, es sei denn ich schließe bei Avia eine Versicherung ab. Kosten 300 €. Das alles, obwohl ich in Deutschland eine Vollkaskoversicherung abgeschlossen hatte.
Diese Abzocke hat anscheinend System. Abends wenn keine Hilfe mehr erreichbar ist.
Später in der Hanseatic App gesehen, dass 1100 € reserviert sind. Wurde 2 Tage später aber gelöscht.
Auto aussen eine Katastrophe mit 18 Schäden, die im System aber hinterlegt waren.
Mietzeitraum war 17.09. bis 26.09.24

The company offered us a much better car, for free, than we ordered. The employees were really helpful and cheerful. The drop off went without any problems, the woman checking our car was really polite.

Good price. In Split the location is not exactly in the airport but you can join it with a walk of 7 minutes so it's OK. Not very warm welcome in Split and Zagreb but no extra cost

Todo fue muy rapido tanto la recogida como la entrega.
El coche no le entregaron muy limpio y bastante nuevo, por poner un pero el coche que nos entregaron no fue el que yo reserve nos dieron uno similar.
