Even though I live in the UK, I ordered some Optrex Eye Drops from BE as they have been discontinued and I have been unable to buy anywhere else. I saw them advertised on BE's website and believed that they may have a stock somewhere, so ordered 4 bottles, which were massively over-priced compared to the price I would normally pay, but worth it if they may be the last ones I can get. Even before they arrived I was sent an email confirming the delivery of an alternative product by Optrex which is no good to me. I contacted BE customer services to arrange the return, informing them that they had not supplied the product I ordered, and even sent them screenshots of the product I ordered and the alternative one they delivered, but they refused the return for refund. After further pressing them, they stated they would investigate the matter but have since not replied to any of my emails. The returns policy on the website says that they will accept returns even if you change your mind - but this is somply not the case - they won't even accept returns when they have supplied the wrong product! Avoid this company and use Amazon - there's very little you can't get from them and their customer service is 2nd to none, unlike British Essentials.

Items came pretty quickly but it was the first time I was charged duty by the Japanese tax office (but that is my due if they decide to do it).
But I did not receive a notifcation on it being sent until after I received the goods. Would like one on being sent on departure (that's all).

It suggests that when ordering that you would receive 5 items for whatever you order. This is proven to be lies. I received 1 item for each I ordered. £4.29 for 1 can of soup is absolutely extortionate. Robbing scum. Do not buy anything from this company!!!

Goods as expected, packed very nicely, and in principle, fast delivery. However, customs code for Finland was faulty, and I ended up paying the customs (value added tax basically) again myself, even though this was supposed to be handled by BE.
Later BE informed me that this issue should now be sorted out.
