"Double Charged................."

Seems to be a theme that they do not return claims. Hired and paid for a car upfront. When i arrived to pick up the Alamo agent asked me to pay again claiming i had not paid. Showed them the receipt for Vehicle-Rent which showed i had paid and they allowed me to take the car. Upon returning the car Alamo had still not been paid so they asked me to pay them again. Phoned vehicle rent who could not explain the issue but agreed they had not paid Alamo and i should pay again directly and they would refund me..................have since submitted all documents, etc and received confirmation they will refund me. It has now been over FOUR MONTHS and still no sign of monies being returned and cannot get any response from company - awful service - avoid at all costs.
YOU WILL SEE A POLITE REPLY FROM THEM BELOW - THEY ARE ALWAYS SO POLITE HOWEVER NOTHING WILL HAPPEN AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY - JUST LOOK AT ALL THE 1* REVIEWS - NO RETURNS EVER GET PAID, NO EMAILS GET RESPONDED TO AND THE PHONE NUMBER GOES TO SALES TEAM WHO ARE POLITE AND SAY ITS ALL A FINANCE ISSUE AND THEY DONT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR THEM. Report these guys wherever you can - even gave Uk BBC Watchdog program the heads up :)

"Требую вернуть франшизу"

Сегодня 26.02.2020, то есть прошло ещё 2 недели со дня последней записи насчёт возврата франшизы (итого 4,5 месяца со дня первого обращения по поводу страхового случая). Номер бронирования QZ92878727. Франшиза не возвращена, Vehicle Rent по электронной почте отвечать перестало. Снижаю оценку до 2-х звезд.

"Scammers DONT TOUCH THEM"

Basically same as everyone else. Got an incredibly "too good to be true" price on car rental. Took out the relax package, which refunds any damage. I got a puncture. Was promised that if I kept all the paperwork the cost of the damage minus the admin fee would be refunded. This was in July 2019. My refund was approved but I was warned it could take 90 days for the refund. Vehicle Rent do this on purpose because your credit card/bank cannot chase a claim after 120 days. Vehicle rent make you wait over that amount of time so they cannot be pursued.
If you are in the process of waiting for your refund and you paid on credit card DO NOT WAIT, there is no point, vehicle rent will never pay you your money. Chase them now while you can. You need an email from vehicle rent approving your refund stating exactly how much they are going to pay you and the last 3 digits of the account they will credit. If you have this info in writing your bank can go after them.

Has anyone successfully had their money back? I see someone mentioned sky scanner but I will try the European route?

"Meine Buchung erfolgte im August 2019…"

Meine Buchung erfolgte im August 2019 über Check24, für einen kleinen Parkschaden wurden 660,00€ einbehalten, zunächst hat Check24 die Schadensabwicklung und Rückerstattung bearbeitet und sich dann im November mit Verweis auf vehicle Rent verabschiedet.
Der Fall wurde bei Check24 abgeschlossen. Von vehicle Rent kam nur ,dass die Buchhaltung innerhalb von 35 Tagen den Fall bearbeiten und zahlen würde. Ich warte nun schon 5 Monate auf mein Geld, das finde ich unverschämt und dreist.
Besonders auch die Haltung von Check24.
Da wird wohl nur der Anwalt helfen können, eine Servicehotline für solche Fälle hat vehicle Rent auch nicht.
Da kann ich auf Check24 und solche Vermieter verzichten. Geht auch günstig anders.

I want my 500 euros refund ; what are the reasons of this intolerable and unaccetable delay?

1) I has waited for my money since 2th september 2019;

2) I called twice;

3) I wrote several times as you know;

4) I had an answer by Emily after a critique published on the italian internet site.

Sorry, but I am really disgusted because I payed insurance and I am right to have the refund

La terza volta che scrivo...sig.ra Emily, lei che ha già risposto pubblicamente una volta, può darmi assicurazioni che non ha scritto una bugia? Non è più tollerabile un ritardo di questo genere. Ad agosto è avvenuto il sinistro assicurato con la copertura totale NON ho ancora avuto nulla. Voglio ciò che mi spetta. Devo presentare una denuncia penale per averlo?

"Vehicle Rent meldet sich nicht"

In Palermo musste ich meinen Wagen nachts, ohne Gegencheck bei Noleggiare zurückgeben. Zuhause angekommen erhielt ich die Nachricht, das Auto habe einen neuen Kratzer (was definitiv nicht stimmte/Abzocke von Noleggiare) und daher würden 330,- berechnet.
Hatte aber über Check24 bei Vehicle Rent komplett versichert. Seit Oktober renne ich meinem Geld nach. Am Telefon wird ständig beteuert man kümmere sich und melde sich noch am gleichen Tag. Es kommt aber gar keine Antwort! Check24 redet sich damit heraus, man sei ja nur Vermittler (sehr enttäuschend). Unbedingt Vehicle Rent meiden! Werde wohl Verbraucherzentrale/Anwalt einschalten...

"Don’t take out their ‘Relax Package’"

Don’t take out their ‘Relax Package’. Took out this policy and made a claim. Claim was authorised and approved but I never got the money back. Vehicle rent kept saying it’s with their finance department for processing, but that never went anywhere. Over 6 months later and still nothing and complete radio silence. Awful for a company that claims its cares about customer service. Don’t touch them, they are crooks.
