"I have to say my car buying experience…"
I have to say my car buying experience at Pentagon Sheffield was a pleasant experience and dealt with professionally. Mike Tinker the manager was helpful and friendly and agreed to the price I asked for on my part exchange. Most pleasant chap. And salesman Basit Ali was informative answered all my questions and made my car buying transaction enjoyable. Basit even rang me a few days later asking was I happy with my new car. I was thanks.
On another note could anyone tell me which product Pentagon Sheffield used to get the shine on my black car? Really loved the shine 😊

"Pentagon have been my go to for cars…"
Pentagon have been my go to for cars since 2014 and I must say that one of the main reasons is because of Tony Williams. What a guy! Brutally honest, personable and an asset to the company. Without him, I would have moved to a different dealership. Customer service is pivotal to any company and Tony really made the entire experience easy. Thank you!
If you do employee of the month.. Tony is surely the winner!

"Absolutely fantastic"
Absolutely fantastic. We've had several cars from Pentagon Runcorn and have always been so pleased with the sales side and the cars.
Antony went out of his way to help us, nothing was left to chance, paperwork explained in full, as was all the features on the car. The used car sales staff are most welcoming and friendly. Thank you again for your help and the supply of 'coffee'

"Extremely Disappointed with My…"
Extremely Disappointed with My Experience at Pentagon Cars and Their Ineffective.
I recently purchased a car from Pentagon at Chadderton and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. My initial excitement turned into frustration and disappointment as I encountered numerous issues and a complete lack of accountability from the company.
From the outset, I was assured that the car I bought had undergone an exhaustive 130-point inspection to ensure its quality and reliability. However, the problems started the moment I drove the car off the lot. I immediately noticed a strange movement under my left foot, and the steering wheel emitted a concerning grinding noise every time I turned a corner. These were far from minor issues, despite what the salesperson Carl insisted.
My attempt to address these concerns with Carl was met with indifference and an alarming lack of professionalism. He brushed off my valid worries, suggesting that such issues were to be expected with used cars. He arranged for the service department to evaluate my car, but due to the unavailability of a courtesy car, I had to wait a week for the appointment. When the inspection was finally conducted, it was revealed that the steering wheel bolt needed replacing, along with other undisclosed problems. My personal mechanic confirmed that these issues should have been identified during the alleged "130 checks."
My growing frustration only escalated when I reached out to Carl via email to express my dissatisfaction. His response was not only dismissive but also shockingly condescending. He insinuated that there were limited options available below £10,000, implying that I should be grateful for what I got.
Desperate for a resolution, I escalated the matter to Phil, the manager, and conveniently, Carl's brother. However, the process of getting a refund was riddled with unnecessary delays. Waiting nearly two weeks for Phil's return from vacation and an additional four days to sign paperwork for the refund was simply unacceptable. The refund itself took an inexplicable four working days, even though the company had no issue processing my payment on the day of purchase.
Adding further insult to injury, I was inexplicably billed £20 for petrol. This is bewildering, considering I had to rush to a petrol station immediately after receiving the car due to its near-empty tank. The disregard for honesty and transparency was glaring.
In my pursuit of a solution, I also reached out to Pentagon's head office customer service. Unfortunately, their involvement proved to be utterly useless. They seemed disinterested in my grievances and offered no real assistance or resolution.
In conclusion, my experience with Pentagon Cars has been a masterclass in disappointment and frustration. The company's failure to uphold promises of thorough inspections, the dismissive attitude towards legitimate concerns, the unacceptable delays, and the questionable billing practices have all contributed to an experience that I would wish on no one. It's clear that Pentagon prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and integrity. I strongly advise potential buyers to explore alternatives that value transparency, honesty, and genuine customer care, as Pentagon clearly falls short on all fronts.
If you are looking for a used car which you can rely on then AVOID this company...

"DISGUSTING service"
DISGUSTING service. After a health check, my vehicle apparently needed £322 worth of work doing to it, £22 for 2 gaskets and £300 for 2 hours labour.
I booked this in with them as they put the fear of God into you when it's anything to do with a leak along with an MOT. 4 weeks later, I rang to check that I'm definitely booked in as no confirmation, and they replied that nothing has been booked in. I struggled to get my MOT in from a local garage but managed before it ended. It's not acceptable.
The worst thing is the Complaints process. No one wants to know, you cant get hold of anyone. Obviously, they won't see me again, but don't tpu be fooled by them.
Joanne, the manager, did not respond or call because she read the original email I sent, which included requesting compensation( I only wanted my car valeting as this is the only thing done well) Ohh and FORD do not do compensation, apparently.
She did ring, but it was because I emailed Ford direct and someone higher made her Ring me but without any details, so they do see our Complaints but just toss them off. Once my email was read, NO CALL back. Laughable.
Lastly, I took my car to another dealer, and they can't see any leak, so what on earth was that all about.
Fords Pentagon, please don't put a smarmy response stating that if I want to speak to anyone and take it further, you are open Mon-Sat 8-6 or something stupid, don't bother, you look bad enough as it is.
This is how you run a business to the ground, not looking after your customers. Shame.

"Rude Rude Rude!"
I took my car for a recall today. A rather rude lady on the service reception desk "dealt" with me.
She couldn't find a booking for my car, I had booked it in through the main contact centre last week. She was very brisk and not at all apologetic, she said that the contact centre were rubbish at booking people in and not letting them know. Then she started asking what the recall was for, I hadn't brought the letter with me. She basically told me to ring the contact centre back and ask what it was for as she couldn't see anything on her system. She was extremely ratty with me, raising her voice so that everyone on the showroom could hear her, repeatedly telling me that it wasn't on her system making me feel so small and stupid for being there. I'm disabled NOT stupid. I asked her not to shout and this made her angry, bristling and repeatedly saying the same thing. No apology for the wasted journey or my time.
What an awful experience, shamed for taking my car in! Definitely won't go back to them for my next motorbility car.

"I've had a very bad experience withe…"
I've had a very bad experience withe vauxhall in Loughborough I ordered a vauxhall astra in October through the mobility scheme. When I ordered the car I asked the how long would it take to build. the guy that dealt with me told me it wouldn't take more then 6 months and now we're in August 2023 I rang in 3 weeks ago and I was told the hand over is going to be on the 5 th August 2023 and someone will get back to me near to that date he said he can see it on the system. And today is the 4th August 2023 I get a call from the person that dealt with me saying the car is not built because they can't get parts for the astras. Made me wait 10 months and he say this now. He said the person that spoke with me was telling me fibs
because he cant see it on the system. Who should i believe they don't give u straight answer. they should of just said they can't do it. Basically the guy was just fogging me off. Then he says do you want cancel the order I said u might aswell I ain't waiting another year for a vauxhall astra the guy hasn't a clue when the car is going to be built. I will be telling my friends and family to avoid pentagon vauxhall in Loughborough. very bad experience the guy found it amusing telling me the car wasn't built never ever again with vauxhall in Loughborough and I really hope they're not doing this to other disabled people fobing them off like what they did to me.
