"Pentagon Mansfield - Terrible after service with no courtesy van or communication"

Pentagon Mansfield. You would think that a company this size would offer a courtesy van when a new van breaks down , especially to a customer who brought a van one off them brand new. After hiring a van for a week , ( they couldn't fit us in and then had to order a part ) , the same fault has appeared after 10 mins of driving away , limp mode again , so van back in and another van having to be hired. Not great support is it. Time , money , hassle, no business owner wants. And this is still ongoing !!
So as of the 21st , we now have another 4 days wait for another part. You really can't make it up!!!
So another update. We now have the van back. No apology, no phone call, no updates,no reply to an e mail i sent 9 days ago to the customer service dept.
Pentagon service at it's finest.

Contacted Jamie at Pentagon concerning a used car. He took his time to explain everything about the car and it's history and condition. He sent me a personal video to show the car with it's service history and extras. We drove from Essex to Scunthorpe to look at the car and everything was exactly as described. Purchase was very smooth and Jamie very pleasant and knowledgeable would recommend highly. Very pleased with our purchase.

Appalling service.Ordered van,paid deposit,then told after 6 weeks the vehicle had arrived but been given to someone else!Sales team continually fobbed me off everytime I called.If you order from here,then be prepared to be dissapointed.Got deposit back and purchased from elsewhere.I recommend you do the same.

Paid a £99 deposit for a seat ateca on Sunday 11th June money taken straight away to then get a phone call on Monday saying car was actually sold on the Saturday??? Was then offered an alternative car by Karl but guess what? It had already been sold?? Spoke to a man called Jamie who seemed interested in me at beginning but promised me a call within the hour but guess what he called 6 hours later rang twice and hung up but was then told by mark he had rang me 3 times!!!!! My phone must be lieing to me then as only shows 1 call
I was happy to pay £26000 for a seat ateca but if this is treatment before you buy car there’s no hope
Only person who as seemed honest and trustworthy is a man called derek who is trying to refund my £99 deposit from last Sunday

Got my citreon in for few issues they wanted to charge 560 odd for brakes I took it to 2 diffrent garages got it done for under 127 they stated discs eroded yet I was show they aren't so ripping me off then they call for a review and want to speak to my partner whe it's my car and me who pays for it!

Dan, in Sales was extremely helpful, he was clear and concise, answering our questions without being overbearing. There was no pressure to buy and everything was so easy to sort regarding test drive and purchase. The car we bought was a used Kia Sportage which is excellent to drive and was a reasonable price for the spec. We would definitely use Pentagon again, a pleasure to do business with.

I bought a car from Ford pentagon in Runcorn- at first I was told that my car would be serviced and MOT’d before I picked up the car, it wasn’t and the mot was due 3 months later. Then a load of faults appeared that should be covered by warranty but I was told I would have to pay for diagnostics £130, I also questioned about a service which they said because my car had done so many miles it would be £406 and £58 for mot which is crazy. I feel I have been conned and will not be buying a car from Ford pentagon again.

I picked up my car which I had waited 9 months for, myself and my son plus the salesman had to clean my brand new car!! It took 3 of us half an hr to clean my car!!! How is this a new car experience???

"Terrible customer service / experience"

Booked my Kia Sorrento vehicle in for warranty issues and brake pads in January. The first time, they had my vehicle for a full day and gave it back at the end saying they didn’t have time to sort anything and I would have to book it in again!.
Vehicle booked in for failing rear shock absorbers on Warranty, on two occasions:
#1 told nothing wrong with them and they would send me a video!
#2 told it was the rear boot lock and they had tightened it!
It was only after I complained, took the manger out to demonstrate and sent an email that the work was begrudgingly done. Vehicle drives 100% better.
We are now in May and I’m still waiting for my corroding roof bars to be replaced under warranty, despite sending numerous emails?.
The tragedy in all this, is that I like the car and I am replacing it in the summer with a new one. My experience means that I will be very unlikely to trade it for another Kia.

Appalling service from Pentagon Ford. My 2022 vehicle was issued a manufacturer recall. Booked in a Pentagon Ford Runcorn branch via the central booking service you are forced to use. Checked multiple times that the booking was in place and work would be completed on the day of the booking. Arrived on the day to be told the parts weren't and aren't available for sometime. The system is flawed and not linked between the central booking system the garages. Beware, I would suggest using another ford franchise.
Still waiting for a manager on how the recall issue will be resolved
