"dreadful customer service"
dreadful customer service. turned up 2 hours early to collect my elderly parents motability car, didnt wait. waited 4 weeks so far for a return call from service manager, & 2 weeks from customer complaints. they turned up again this morning, an hour early, car wouldnt start because of a flat battery. & left. you cant even talk to them, its someone 100 miles away.

"Love my Clio gt line"
Wanted to part exchange my car , looked on the pentagon website the only car I saw that I liked within my budget was a Clio gt line , put a reservation £99 on the car to reserve , contacted the dealership , was told the car was in very good condition, I decided to go for it and paid for the next day , I received my Clio at work as the dealership was 65 miles away , mot service and paint protection done was absolutely over the moon when I saw my car in my works car park , can’t believe the Clio is in mint condition and looked after , just like to say a big thank you to Kevan R from Pentagon Ford St Helens in dealing with my car. And thank you to the driver who delivered my car. Happy Days !!

Don’t pay the £99 reservation fee…we did to only turn up to test drive a car and they sold it the day before! Reservation is meaningless! Will avoid Pentagon Runcorn in future.
Edit:For Pentagon response: I did call customer services…”my manager will call you back in 2 mins”…no one rang me back!
Edit2: For pentagon response: never mind raising with the dealership this is a breach of FCA regulations..this should be escalated to your board!

Called yesterday Tuesday 22 November with my partner to have a look and most likely buy a Dacia duster .Had a look at the vechile outside walked into the showroom to see if the keys were available to look inside a bloke behind a desk oblivious to us walking around the showroom another walked past out another door felt totally ignored just walked out sorry to say got better service at another garage.

"Stay away! Shocking experience after travelling for 6 hours to get there!"
We arranged to buy a 2019 Fiat Panda here (350 miles away from us) on 7 November. It was to be ready for collection on 11 November. On arrival, at the agreed time, there was no-one available to deal with us for 45 minutes. The sales person, Simon Hill, then appeared (no apology) and we had a test drive. The car was excellent apart from an intermittently dodgy speaker, lack of any service evidence and damp seats. We were happy, on the basis that the problems could be fixed before we had to leave (45 mins). We then watched an extended quarrel in the showroom as to who would (or wouldn't) be prepared to do what, and when. We lost all confidence in buying the car after that. We got a refund of our deposit and left, again with no apology. Communication needs to be considerably improved. The customer needs to be put first (however far they travel). The car was just what we wanted and well-priced (5* for that) - we would have purchased it, but for the 1* customer service. Be warned!
UPDATE 24/11/2022 following this review, Pentagon have been in touch to apologise to us; find out more about the complaint; and advise what action they propose to take to ensure a more consistently good level of customer service. Doesn't change our experience, but credit and thanks to them for their actions.

Stay away.shocking place.selling cars and hiding damage. replaced smoked windows for clear on one side and dont inform the customer.....customer service Simon Hill who sold the car faiked to reply back to any email or pine calls . The manager Christopher Olive pig ignorant,refused to help. My daughters first car and £11,500.

"Poor Customer Service Loughborough"
I have a Vauxhall 21 plate Vivaro, this is the second time I have had awful treatment from their customer service staff. I didn’t complain the first bad experience as I gave the staff member the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was me in the wrong. I even apologised to her.
I have a an intermittent dash board , oil light and now engine light. They can stay on for days or for one journey length. Some times flashing sometime on permanently. This causes a lot of stress and anxiety as I worry their is something wrong with the vehicle.
I have bought my van in with the lights off and on. I have taken photos of the light on. The first time they said their was nothing wrong, I left and the light came on the day after. I returned with the light on and they explained that I wasn’t worry as the oil was fine. No explanation as to why the light keeps coming on.
Since March the light for engine oil has continued to flash intermittently causing concern and me constantly to check the oil. Now the engine light has been coming on I was concerned which is why I reluctantly booked it in.
Loughborough staff completed check again this week and again explained there was absolutely nothing wrong with my vehicle. That there was nothing on the computer to even say these lights have been coming on. Their ‘top technician’ had looked and this and complete a test drive.
I excepted this but kindly asked what they thought the warning lights were caused by. I have genuine concern about this and asked if they could speak to someone at Vauxhall to see if there were any other vehicles doing the same thing? I just wanted to find a solution or know what to do. This is when the staff members tone changed, she spoke over me and repeated what she had already said that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Almost like I was imagining it, I just wanted some help to find a solution, there was no help or advice offered. Her tone changed, further more, which is when I said that I didn’t like the way she was speaking to me. She explained that this was who she was and how she speaks and almost insinuated I was being discriminative towards her. I repeated that I didn’t like the way she was speaking to me. I can assure you this is not how she spoke to me when I booked the van in.
She went on to say “ I have never seen a vivaro with the faults you are describing and I have seen a lot of vans believe me” she continued with her hostility, not listening and talking over me. “I can assure you I understand body language and how to speak to people as she had studied psychology”. I gave up.
I left saying I don’t believe I deserve to be spoken to like a child and this is exactly how I felt, I felt humiliated. I went and sat in my partners car extremely upset and anxious.
I get out of his car to see where they had parked my van. They had turned off all the lights in the office. I find my van at the furthers point of the car park, it’s not been cleaned. Listed of jobs to be completed I was told the vehicle would receive a complimentary clean as well as the full diagnostic.
So disappointed. I just want a solution for this.

"Highly Recommended, great professional service"
We've had a professional and great service from the start. I purchased a 208 GT in nimbus grey 72 plate, my first new car. This took 10 days to complete, from buying to collecting, amazing! We felt no pressure whatsoever, it was laid back, which we prefer. Our salesman Jamie was knowledgeable, very pleasant and more importantly asked what 'I' wanted in a vehicle, which was very important as this was mainly my work car, as I'm a Driving Instructor. My pupils love it. Thank you so much Michelle & Andy.

"I recently used their online valuation…"
I recently used their online valuation tool for my Mercedes, Pentagon came back with 3 prices, £7457 for good condition, £7240 for average condition and £7023 for poor condition. My car is in excellent condition with full history so I was expecting a trade in valuation towards the top end of their valuation.
The following day I visited their Nottingham Vauxhall dealership with the intention of buying a 3 year old VW Polo. On inspecting the Polo it was covered in stone chips and scuffs, in fact my trade in car was in better condition than car they were selling. Next came the big shock, they offered me £6000 for my Mercedes, £1457 pounds less than their online valuation. A total waste of time time and effort driving to this dealership to be shown a substandard car and offered a massively lower price on my part exchange. I called at another local dealer on my way home and was offered £7200 for my car £1200 more than Pentagon. Why offer a price online and then reduce it by such a massive amount on visiting the dealership. I’ve purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership in the past, but never again!
