"Liars deserve to be exposed"
Please read this review in full if you’re considering buying from Pentagon. I don’t usually write reviews but felt obliged to do so on this occasion. I bought my vehicle from Pentagon Seat in Nottingham, but I mostly dealt with Pentagon Seat Huddersfield as they are closer to where I live.
Firstly, the whole buying process was poor. The sales representative at Pentagon Seat Chilwell in Nottingham was rude when I first called about the car. When asking for a few moments to consider whether I wanted to leave a deposit, I was told this was not possible and that I had to put a deposit down immediately. The sales representative said: “I’m not taking the car off just so you can have a few moments to think about the purchase”. I was annoyed, but let this go as it was competitively priced at the time and had the specification I wanted. Furthermore, on buying the car, there were no documents about the warranty or what it covered. This can be accessed online, but should have been provided on purchase. They also provided one year breakdown cover. No documents were sent to me regarding this and I had to chase this up. My details were entered on the system but no confirmation was ever sent to me.
Shortly after buying the vehicle I noticed that the rear wiper was screeching against the rear windscreen and was severely worn. A couple of weeks later I was using my front windscreen wipers in heavy rain and noticed that the front wipers were also rubbing and screeching against the front windscreen. This caused a large scratch to occur on my front windscreen. Pentagon claim to do extensive checks before selling their cars, so how they missed that the wipers were worn is beyond me. I called them to inform them of the situation, but they refused to replace the wipers or rectify the issue as it was not under warranty. I was told that the wipers come under wear and tear, so they could do nothing. However, this was complete rubbish as I had only had the car for a couple of weeks. Furthermore, when complaining about this and another problem (more about the other problem below) to Seat UK, Pentagon claimed that I complained about the wipers ‘a good few months’ after purchasing the vehicle, so they were not willing to replace the wipers as too much time had passed since the purchase.
A couple of weeks after buying my car I noticed that the suspension was making squeaking and creaking noises over bumps and uneven road surfaces. I booked the car in and was told by the technician that there were no problems with the suspension. As the colder weather kicked in the noises became louder and much more noticeable. As I was busy with work I left the car with Pentagon Seat Huddersfield for three days for them to investigate the problem fully. To my astonishment, I was told by the service manager that herself and three technicians had all driven the car and they heard ‘no noise at all’. I noted the mileage before leaving the car with them. They had driven my car 19 miles and had the audacity to tell me they heard nothing. This was impossible as I was hearing it over every bump and uneven road surface, including the large bumps outside the dealership. I was absolutely disgusted. I could not believe that such a big dealer that so many people trust could lie so blatantly. I escalated the situation to Seat UK, who told me to book it in with another Seat dealer. I booked the car in with JCT600. The technician heard the noise straight away over the first bump they went over in the dealership, before even going out on the main roads. They gave me a diagnosis and booked me in. The part replaced helped a bit, but the problem still remains. Suspension squeaks and creaks are common in VW group cars post 2012, something I only learned after purchasing my car. Pentagon Seat knew this, but instead of trying to help they lied to me and wanted to have nothing to do with it.
The above were not the only problems I had with the car, but the review would be too long to mention them all. Overall, my experience with this dealership was very poor. They lost out on further custom as I was going to service my car with them, but will not be doing so as they are untrustworthy. If you want peace of mind when buying a car and expect good service when something goes wrong, avoid this dealership at all costs.

"I will never use this dealership again"
I have used this dealership for several years but since Pentagon took it over the service department are creating very expensive work that is not required using their so called "health check". I have had 4 cars from Ford's at this site and have had a service plan for a number of years with no problem but this year something has gone badly wrong.I will never use a Ford dealership again because of my treatment. If you complain you will get nowhere, even from their complaints dept..BEWARE.
To answer reply below..I have contacted customer services who said they only pass on comments etc but do not get involved..absolutely useless..again do not bother.

"Slow and poor quality"
Wouldn't recommend this Branch at all. Took over five months to carry out the repairs and the quality of work was extremely poor not to mention the attitude of one particular staff.

"Worst customer service ever encountered!"
Pentagon Vauxhall Arnold, Nottingham. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I have an intermittent fault with my gearbox, car is under warranty and used as a driving school car. They drove it a couple of miles and said nothing wrong without even asking when the fault occurs. The service manager then refused to speak to me as he was too busy apparently. I can only assume he had a mountain of other complaints to get through.

"Bomb site dealers mentality in expensive suits."
We went to the Peugeot Lincoln branch of Pentagon, expecting to buy an 'approved' used 2008. The price was high, as one would expect from a main dealer, but one would also expect this to be reflected in the quality of the vehicle. It wasn't.
It was described as having a full service history, but there was no record of this. One of the tyres was an advisory at its last MOT 7 months before - it was still on the car. They had changed 2 of the discs, one on the front and one on the back - they should ALWAYS be changed in pairs. One of the unchanged discs was badly scored.
Add to this the fact that no other dealer I've encountered sells a vehicle with less than 6 months MOT, and they added £149 'insurance' to the advertised price of the 2008 , though there was no mention of this on their website that I could find. It hadn't even been very well valeted!
In contrast, the last car we bought was an 'approved' BMW, which we purchased unseen from the other end of the country. It was delivered for free and was in perfect condition.
Pentagon Peugeot Lincoln? Bomb site dealers mentality in expensive suits.

"Excellence"
Excellence! What more does one need to say. Just bought a new Plug In Kuga off Tony J. (new car sales). He has the patience of a Saint and the Wisdom of Solomon! Thank you so much for helping us on the journey - offering advice and insight - when required.
The whole dealership had that 'friendly' and 'welcoming" feel.
Back to Tony - NOTHING was too much trouble, and without doubt, he is one of the most knowledgable sales people I have experienced. He certainly knows his stuff (cars & bikes)!
'People buy People' - that's what we liked.

"Great Service, Tony was a star!"
Tony took great care of me and my family, explained everything calmly and in a way we could all understand the ins and outs of the different options.
Though I didn't end up purchasing the car as it just wasn't the one for me, he was able to offer a great deal and worked hard to get the team to get it in great condition! Even after this, he called up to offer me a similar car that they had just got in to the showroom, which was super thoughtful of him.
Would definitely recommend going in to see their cars and especially booking an appointment with Tony!

"Pentagon Motor Group: very highly recommended"
I would totally recommend buying a second-hand car from Pentagon Motor Group. Matt Bavin and Paul Askew were both extremely knowledgeable and most helpful when buying my BMW recently. The car arrived in Surrey from Lincoln in a beautiful 'mint' condition, it is 6 years old but looks and drives brand new (Paul had sent me a good short video of the inside and outside of my BMW before being dispatched to Surrey). Very impressed and highly recommend Pentagon
