"Poor quality service after initial order"

First point is that the quality of the finished product is very good. I have marked the company down because of the poor quality of information. I was led to believe that delivery of the bed would follow within a short time frame after placing the order. When I hadn't heard anything in the time I was led to believe the order would would take I rang the company. There was a problem with obtaining the fabric for the base. I was given a delay time of about a week - still no notification of delivery date, this happened about 3 more times and eventually I rang to say, the grandchildren are coming to stay this weekend, will I have their trundle bed by then! At last they confirmed it would be. I asked about the carrier taking the bed upstairs for us. I was told it was v light and wouldn't be problem even for us in our 70's. It took all morning and it was v difficult and things were much heavier than we were led to believe - so again I was disappointed in the information given to us

Very pleased with the wardrobe and chest of drawers, from Bed King. And the service from both of the service assistants that delivered and fitted up the products, they were polite and respectful of my home.

Great price and delivery was quicker than most. The chaps who did the delivery were polite and efficient in putting the furniture up.
I’ve dropped a star due to being quite surprised that they asked to use my microwave to heat up their lunch. I’m now left with a, not unpleasant, aroma of someone else’s meal.

Satisfied with product so far, but communication with Bed Kings and Customer Service really poor - few responses to delivery issues and initial responses not relevant. Bed eventually arrived about 6 weeks later.
