"NO NO NO. GO WITH EURO CAR"

Absolutely stay away from them. You’re better off paying the premium for a nicer car from a reputable company.

The same guy that picked us up from the airport is also their front desk person. No other staff. Shady office building in the middle of no where. Stay away. You get what you pay for

"Comenzó con una espera de una hora en…"

Comenzó con una espera de una hora en el aeropuerto, aparece una persona que a las apuradas me pide que lo siga, afuera llovía torrencialmente las 6 cuadras que caminamos logró que me mojara totalmente al igual que mi equipaje.
Así mojado me llevo en cinco minutos, excedido de la velocidad máxima a su oficina donde me entregaría la camioneta.
Una vez en la oficina, mirando solo el monitor y en pésimo ingles inicio la charla pidiéndome mi Lic. de conducir, se la entregué y sin mediar palabra me dijo que me cobraba 50 euros mostrándome el posnet de cobro de tarjeta de crédito, me negué, le expliqué que mi Lic. era internacional, y que además no necesitaba que sea especialmente la “internacional”, cosa corroborada antes , mientras y después con compatriotas, sumando a mi descargo que ya había rentado y conducido en la UE anteriormente; su respuesta fue de muy mal modo, que si no me gustaba podía irme afuera (así iniciaría mis vacaciones).
Acepte en desconformidad, luego me paso lo que a todos, te solicita retener de un tarjeta 2900 euros, y sino te obliga a tomar un seguro que lo reduce a 600 euros, sin otra opción lo tome, firmamos los papeles,
De muy mal modo me entregó una caddy volkswagen con golpes en las chapas y parabrisas, le dije que no tenía inconvenientes pero quería anotar todos los mismos y el me firmara la conformidad, pero me hecho insultó y, cerró la puerta de la oficina, solo le pude decir que era un robo lo que estaba haciendo.
Habiendo leído anteriores comentarios, me tome un tiempo fotografié todo el vehículo cuando me lo entregó y cuando lo devolví, además de lavar el mismo dejándolo perfectamente limpio y mejor que como me lo habían dejado (con un fuerte olor a Cigarrillo, un asco)

Así comencé mi viaje en país increíble y con la gente más educada, amable que conocí, pero Este sujeto es despreciable, lamentablemente no me recibió el vehículo al finaliza mi viaje, lo hice un muchacho joven y amable. Sin más NO RECOMIENDO RENTAR EN ESTE LUGAR.

Ohne mehr EMPFEHLE ICH NICHT, AN DIESEM ORT ZU MIETEN.

Foi assim que comecei minha viagem em um país incrível e com as pessoas mais educadas e gentis que conheci, mas esse cara é desprezível, infelizmente ele não recebeu o veículo no final da minha viagem, fiz dele um garoto jovem e gentil. Sem mais, NÃO RECOMENDO ALUGAR NESTE LUGAR.

"A ZERO STAR WOULD BE BETTER."

WOW. I have rented dozens of car over the last 50 years and never have had this experience. Reading the prior reviews now, which I should have done to begin with, I see the same thing happening to me that has happened to others.

First we showed up late and was assessed $100 US, as a late charge. Now reviewing the booking information, there is no reference to a late charge and it even states open 24/7 and no charge. Since we had no options and needed the car and under duress I agreed to the charge.

Now the second situation, a week after I get home I am sent a charge for about $200 US. for a small dent, which I can not see in the picture and a hairline crack in the tail light. This is on a very old car with 272,000 kilometers on it.

So if you read through these reviews, you will see the same pattern.

Do NOT use this company. They have old, unsafe cars and even the GPS was broken, They charge your credit card for insurance and then it is a scam that they charge for cleaning fees.

"Alquilamos desde España"

Alquilamos desde España. Nadie nos recibió en el aeropuerto, tuvimos que tomar un bus hasta la la oficina. El coche que nos entregaron (Renault Megan JP 48V) era un auténtico desastre, lleno de golpes, el parabrisas roto y sin bandeja para cubrir el equipaje. Quisimos cambiarlo pagando la diferencia pero no nos lo permitieron. En definitiva no recomendable.

Estafa. Por ser una empresa lowcost al final acabas pagando como una de calidad mayor. Te cobran adicionales por TODO y cuando le hemos dicho que queríamos cancelar todo nos dicen que no es posible que la reserva ya está hecha.
Descontentos.

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Hired a car in March, it broke down (fanbelt snapped) and we had to be rescued. Missed flights, had to pay rebooking and accommodation. Then get charged EUR700 two months later for 'repairs'. I contacted the garage that was attached to the claim and they confirmed that they did not repair the car. They didn't even INSPECT the car - the quote was prepared from photos. The rental agreement states we can submit disputes to the Icelandic Consumers Association and the Icelandic Travel Association, but they are not even members of the Association!!!
They do not bother to answer mails once they've got your money.
Save your cash - go elsewhere

"Not even one star. Worst car company."

Foolish me didn’t read the reviews before booking with this company. We hired a car during our stay in Iceland. We are experienced travellers and have rented many cars. Where to start...
At the airport we waited over an hour for someone to arrive and meet us. At the office, we were overwhelmed with the smell of paint that it actually made us light headed. We were not given the car we ordered, but took the Citigo they gave us. It was covered in dents and scratches which were identified on the form they gave us. When driving around we realised the window wipers didn’t work properly in wet, snowing conditions. I don’t think the tyres were snow tyres as requested. Also the drive belt screeched for most of our journey. On return the company did not inspect our car and rushed us to the airport not giving us time to request an inspection. We told them about the drive belt out of curtesy to the next drivers. We thought all was fine. However on our return we received pictures showing us a tiny dent on the boot. We have been charged €1,130 for fixing a tiny dent! Because we paid for extra insurance they only charged us €700! This company is unethical. We have no proof that we caused this dent. I also doubt they have actually fixed it as the car was already covered in dents and scratches. I assume they just take your money and pass the damaged car onto the next unsuspecting customer. Of course, I have no proof of this but I also have no proof that the repairs were carried out. My advice, is pay the extra and go with a well known car hire company.

"Do Not Trust - Car rental fraud"

Very unfair extra fees, hidden charges, don’t rent from this company. You will get very high amount of additional charge. very unprofessional and very very rude. They evencharge you for slight late pickup and they say it as a 'late pickup fee' even though you collect the car or return the car within the 'grace period.'
I would give them 0 Star if this zero rating was available. Stay away from these scammers.

AVOID this company.
As per cancellation policy they take 25% of the fee no mater what. This is a sign of a business model based not on providing good service, but to try to extract as much money as possible from unwary tourists. Unprofessional customer service. AVOID.
