"Absolutely horrific experience"

Absolutely horrific experience. New fridge was scheduled to be delivered on Monday 7th, heard nothing all day so I messaged online chat at 4pm. It was answered pretty promptly and I was told that it would still be delivered on the 7th.
Nothing.
Opening a ticket about the issue. Tuesday the 8th I got through to online chat, who apologised and said he would be in touch if it wasn’t going to be delivered on the 8th, he opened another ticket.
Nothing
I got a text at 4pm saying it would be delivered on Wednesday 9th.
I opened an online chat at 2.45pm on Wednesday 9th asking where the delivery was, Facebook messaged, called and nothing. 2 previous tickets unanswered.
I’ve now taken 3 days off work and I still have no idea when my item is getting delivered and no one is answering any of my requests.
Would never order again
Update: item finally got delivered 6pm on 9th. Delivery driver, Roneel, was amazing.
Shame the customer services team let them down so badly

"This place is absolutely useless"

This place is absolutely useless with getting stuff out and delivered it would’ve been quicker for me to pick it up when I’m 30 minutes away I ordered this on 1 October it is now 8 October and they still don’t know when it will be delivered Just wasting my time. This is not the first time I’ve been mucked around by them too. The first time I ordered the oven wire rack, no one ever called me to tell me it was in stock I go there after a few weeks they send me down to pick one up don’t even have the stock for it then was told it would be delivered to me another two weeks still nothing so went back in there they sent me to the showroom to go and pick up One obviously they’ve taken it out of oven. so much poor customer service. They definitely need a better system in place if I can order something from Auckland and get it the next day what kind of outfit is this. After reading all the poor reviews they shouldn’t have gone there. Really disappointed.

"Absolute 3rd world service"

Logged onto my account, updated my address and deleted all the old ones. Placed an order online on 23/9 for a ladder, paid $159 and $7 shipping. Invoice was emailed and although selected my new address, saw delivery was going to my old address. Called the contact centre and had them redirect delivery to my new address, said it would be delivered 28/9. It was not delivered, phoned again, and promised a new delivery date. Didn't arrive once again and this cycle repeated at least 3 times. Eventually 6/10 driver Mandeep messages to advise 17min to delivery...to my old address, tried to call and txt driver to redirect at least 13 times, no response and item delivered to old address.
Worst experience of my life, not sure how this place is still in business?

When things go wrong it's so amazing to have support to sort it! The team were all so great in trying to sort the laundry unit that had an incorrect component. Parts went back and forth as they tried alternatives. Delays happened. In the end I asked for and was given a full credit the next day. Things will go wrong. What makes it right is responsive service!

"Useless customer service when replacing warped shower tray."

Shower ordered through them. The shower tray was warped badly and both the plumber and builder were no way is that going in. So the arduous and time consuming process of contacting them began. Started Wednesday morning, 5pm Thursday get confirmation that a replacement tray will be sent. Friday get the great news your item has been despatched email. However their idea of what has been despatched and mine are diametrically opposed. Five, yes that's five days after being told it's despatched the courier has physically picked it up. In the meantime I've contacted them numerous times telling them that a) I don't have the tray and b) the tracking number doesn't work which means it hasn't been picked up by the courier. Despite telling them that we only have the one shower which of course is out of action waiting for them to send the replacement tray it would appear to have zero impact upon someone in this organisation to actually do something for the suffering customer. Tray turned up 6 days after I received the email from them advising it had been despatched. In reality it hadn't LEFT their warehouse. The time I spent following up on this is more than the 6 hour return trip I should have taken to get the tray.
In short I got a substandard tray, got the right royal muck around and now left with the feeling of I should do my level best to tell as many people as possible not to purchase anything from this "outfit".

Straight from the template of replies to use to frustrated customers.

Yet again completely missing the point that it was the replacement shower tray that took days and days to arrive because they never sent it, despite requests from myself querying it. Bearing in mind that they have daily courier pick ups and it was their substandard item that needed to be replaced in the first place.
By using the phrase "We apologize if this did not meet your expectations" kind of implies that I had massively high expectations - my expectations were that you'd send out a replacement tray rather than having it sitting in your warehouse despite advising me it was despatched. It's also not unreasonable to think that the replacement tray might be treated as a priority.
It's pointless to give any information so that they can look into it, I already know how and why this occurred.
In the great words of LV Martin "if it’s not right, then we will put it right and it’s the putting it right that counts” and against this measure this lot completely fail.

Question:why would your staff tell me it's going on the overnight delivery?
Why do you send out an email saying it's been despatched when in reality it hasn't! Despatched means left your warehouse ...
Anyway I'm not wasting any more of my time on this or trade depot. Lesson learnt.

"Toilet seat fixer broke"

Toilet seat fixer broke. Went to trade depot to buy exact replacement and they don't have any that fit to the toilet seat they sold. Had to buy whole new toilet seat and manager was useless. Staff member was pretty good however. Also no luck went to mitre 10 instead. Trade depot literally sells crap

"Great Company "

I’ve been shopping with Trade Depot for years and honestly can’t understand why there are so many negative reviews! My personal experience has always been great, and I know several people who have had the same positive interactions. Every company, no matter how big or small, will have some issues from time to time—it’s just part of doing business. But in my experience, Trade Depot has always been reliable and responsive. I think it’s important to keep in mind that no company is perfect, and sometimes things don’t go smoothly, but that doesn’t reflect the quality of service overall. I’m happy to continue being a loyal customer!
