"RingCentral needs your CC info…for life"
RingCentral not only stores your credit card information without your permission at signup, they also make it literally impossible to remove it from their website. There is no option to remove the credit card. When canceling the account and service with them…wait for it…they still don’t remove your credit card information. For some reason they’d really like to keep your cc on file forever. Any reason for needing to keep cc info isn’t going to end well for the consumer. I guess they haven’t heard of data leaks or security breaches. Have to go delete that bank card now. They just really, really prefer to keep everyone’s cc info forever. Sketch. RUN AWAY FROM THEM.
