Martin came to service our air source heat pump and explain how to use it. He did a very through job, adjusted the system and patiently explained how the system worked and how we could adjust it. He could not have been more helpful.

Greener energy group have installed 13 solar panel. It was a quick service and turnaround by electrician and Solar panel installer.
Much appreciate the service provided by Greener Energy group.

"Couldn’t be bothered"

Guy came out to see us, got distinct impression he couldn’t be bothered. Said we’d only fit 5 panels where their minimum order is 6. We questioned if they could be put on different roofs, to meet minimum of 6, or possibly more. We have a south facing and south east facing roof on our house. He promised to discuss with his technical team and come back to us the next day. Still no contact a week later. We’ve since had another company out who had a much better (can do, rather than can’t do attitude), who can fit panels for us no problem so we’ll be going with them.

Workmen arrived as promised and carried out the installation as we hoped.
It was a very hot day but they just got on with it.
Special mention for the young man with the electrician. Only two weeks into the job but my wife and I thought he had lots more experience than he has. So polite and obvious eager to learn. A credit to his journeyman.

"Tripped at every hurdle"

Review of Solar PV install by Greener Energy.The company seemed to trip at every hurdle on our Solar PV install. Poor or no communication from the office, only getting updates after chasing them for answers over days and weeks. On the day of installation the electrician turned up to the job with no cable and realised half way through installation the short bit of cable he had started to install wasn't long enough. The short length of cable was left wired in our loft and eaves after he completed the job the following day, we in turn had to contact the company to ensure the cable wasn't live. The solar panel fitters turned up on time, though they broke roof tiles duing the installation. Two weeks after the installation the grid connection on our inverter started arcing and melted due the electricians incorrectly installing, if it wasn't for our modern RCD it potentially could have caused a fire. Management replied to our compaint and were dismissive and defensive from the offset. After two weeks of solar downtime the company sent out an experienced electrician who picked up on the fault and replaced the inverter there and then, he also tested it to ensure working order before he left.
