"Quick and efficient service, realistic about the benefits"

At the initial survey of our home we were never over promised or over sold on what solar could do for us. A realistic, or slightly pessimistic quote was produced estimating likely production and how long it would take to pay back the investment. I really appreciated the honesty and felt confident in making the choice to go with greener energy group. Our install day went smoothly, the roofing team showed up bang on 9am and worked quickly and quietly getting the solar panels on my roof. The electricians were held up with a big job prior but this was explained and there were absolutely no issues once they were in the house. Went over options for cable runs and locations for the inverter and battery and after that they worked quickly to connect everything up. At the end, they explained how the system worked and helped me set up the monitoring app. Couldn't ask for a better introduction to the service! Finally, this was followed up the next day by a phone call where they checked everything was working as expected and to see if I had any further questions. 5* customer service.

"I struggled to get through to book a…"

I struggled to get through to book a service for my heat pump. I tried for almost 2 weeks and each time I got an automated message saying all operators were busy, leave a message & they would call you back - never happened. It became obvious that the office was closed for holidays but if that’s the case - say so & save me phoning several times a day trying to contact someone. What would have happened if I had had a real emergency & needed an engineer?
I then received a text at 8:30am the morning after the public holiday saying our heat pump was overdue a service, lecturing on the importance of keeping this up to date or the warranty would be invalid etc, & to contact number given to arrange a service! I phoned the number immediately to be greeted with an answering machine saying the offices were closed & wouldn't open till 9.00am! I phoned just after 9.00 to automated messages - on ALL ‘options’ & contact numbers saying all operators are busy, leave a message.. etc!! I finally got a response from the sales option & was put through to the servicing dept, who denied ever having received any messages from me. As if.
I have never known a company that insists on servicing to maintain a warranty to make it the client’s responsibility to phone to book a service (which is impossible anyway!). Every other company I know (including the one my husband works for - he’s a Service Engineer) contacts the client to let them know a service is due & arrange a date then. Another point is that they ask for payment at the time of booking the service. Who does that?? You wait until the service is actually carried out before payment is made - what happens if the guy doesn’t turn up? Or if you’re not happy with any part of it?
The reason for 2 stars is for the pleasant young man I finally got to speak to in the sales department, who transferred me to the elusive servicing department and to Martin, the lovely engineer who carried out the job.

Very efficient👌I would say though a tad expensive for what is given with no parts supplied. Could have serviced 2 cars for the price, but you need it for the warranty.

The installation of the panels was handled quickly and efficiently but there was a problem with the inverter which took a few days to remedy. Also the parts to add the immersion heater are not available as yet.

"great workmen (they were all men) bad company"

The workmen that did the fitting were great, The office staff useless, it took over a month just to get a receipt for the deposit and I never got the welcome pack which I assume would have told me how to register for feedback etc. basically i did all the work.
they sell this as a 5kw system, read the proposal, it isn't, its a system made up of panels that on a perfect day could generate 5kw BUT the industry standard for this size of system and the inverter they fit is limited to 3.68kw, therefore that is the system size, you may argue symantics but they give the impression you're going to produce for than you actually are. I I'm happy with the system and the workmanship (I knew about the 3.68kw) but I wouldn't use the this company,
