Do not buy from them!!!
I received the ordered smart watch. gear s3 frontier.
Wife bought me a gift.
I am very unhappy. This is not a new watch !!!
Has usage signs.
The ring at the top of the knock is loose. There are scratches on it.
The casing is dirty and scratched.
The watch strap has signs of use.
This is grade -B condition unboxes
None of this information was included in the description
I tried to call the phone number provided, but the number is incorrect!
I sent this information in a the shop chat, no response!
They are scammers

"New Apple iPad 9.7" (2018) 32GB Wifi - Space Gray £245.98"

I ordered my IPAD on the 3/09/19 and to be fair it was delivered just 2 days later, so full 5 star delivery.
It came sealed as a New Apple iPad 9.7" (2018) 32GB Wifi - Space Gray
When I opened the box I found it came with a usb type c charging cable and american adapter inside instead of the lightning usb cable I required for this older model.
I immediately emailed smartxdirect and sent photos, proof of posting and returned the incorrect cable.
Several emails later back and forth and many promises of a replacement cable plus refund of postage, I still have received nothing from smartxdirect. I keep email reminding them but now not even a reply.
Another strange thing I found was that when I registered the device with Apple they said it had already been registered some months before and that it was almost certainly a repacked refurb in Apples eyes.
Apple said it would only be warrenteed to 20/07/2020 because it must have been switched and registered originally on the 20/07/2019. Not what I expected to hear.
I asked smartxdirect why would this be since this ipad was supposed to be 100% brand new and original?
They said "some products required to be switched on and checked they are fully compatible in uk and eu and software installed by manufacturers are upto dated for uk for that suppose we some requires to switch on and activated some units do checks Which is why we add 3 months additional warranty with all products insase if the warranty has been stated during process" This begs the question as to why they didn't ensure it had the correct cable and charger then!
The last communication I had with smartxdirect was the 29/09/10 when they said the correct lightening cable had been shipped due for delivery 1/10/19 with an incorrect tracking number!
I have emailed them a number of times to chase but they do not even reply now.
I didn't want to give them a poor review to be fair but they seem to have gone to ground now and are not communicating. Thank goodness the IPAD works because I would not have trusted retuning it to them under any warrantee should I have needed to.
All I can say is beware and truly assess if the saving against local purchase is really worth it???

"Please do NOT buy from this company"

Please do NOT buy from this company. I ordered an Armani watch for my dad for Xmas. The watch came really late, even when I emailed them to find out where it was, I had no response. Because it was late I decided to give it to him for his birthday (January) when we took it out of the box, the watch fell apart more or less. The pin fell out and the metal strap lock didn’t even lock. Believe me Iv seen much better Fakes that are reliable. This company is impossible to contact unless your giving them your money. Luckily I paid via PayPal and I am waiting for a refund however, I have sent the item back (recorded delivery) and on Royal Mail tracking system says “was unable to deliver as nobody at the address”. This company is a scam and the goods they sell are cheap fakes. Stay away from this at all cost. I made the mistake of not reading all these 100% true 1 star reviews. If you do buy from this company, you will be writing your own 1 star review very shortly. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This site is fake! It sells you what you think is new but its second hand goods you can get much cheaper elsewhere also they will not answer any messages you send and if your lucky you might even receive the item you paid for!

Don't use this company. I have bought a armani watch. It's fake and I have emailed them few times regarding that but no reply. I want to return it and get my refund but no reply. I will contact PayPal as I paid using PayPal.

"Not even 1 star sold me a fake galaxy…"

Not even 1 star sold me a fake galaxy s3 gear. Came with a genuine charger but charger detected that watch was a counterfeit and wouldnt charge Worked for a few days then stopped. Only sort of good thing was the delivery was prompt other than that dont touch them. I was lucky and was covered by PayPal protection promise. Total cowboys.

Do not purchase from smartxdirect

They attempt to mislead by suggesting reviewers of their online shop are misleading. An utter disgrace of a company. Do not let them get away with it. Please read the entirety of my review which is detailed. Other independent reviewers are suggesting the same, therefore I reject smartxdirect accusations that my first and initial review of their online shop was in anyway misleading. It is my suggestion they have been misleading and not the many reviewers on trustpilot, including my own under my wifes name. They took my honest review down. I will keep reviewing until they accept responsibility for their poor online shop performance.

I have given smartxdirect 1 star even though it deserves zero. As many others are saying they will take your money, but do not deliver goods. They do not respond to emails and their chat system is unreliable. However, if you persevere someone will become available via their chat system.

I have spoken to Smartxdirect via their online chat and have agreed to clarify remarks I made against a company that is used to transact money from smartxdirect. Due to the difficulty in communicating with smartxdirect, I carried out a little research on the transaction between smartxdirect and how my money had been deducted from my account.

The information I researched was based on the following and has been copied from my paypal statement in order that no misleading information is given.

The telephone number is no longer in operation, even though it appears on the credentials.Similarly, the link gadgetdigitals does not work. (http removed and directlink to email due to restrictions of trustpilot)

Smartxdirect have informed me they wil give me a refund if I remove misleading remarks based on A & B International ltd. They state that A & B International are the transaction company. The implication is A & B international ltd is a seperate entity to them.

The online chat I had gave me the impression they wished to distance themselves from A & B International even though my paypal account clearly states they were the seller I dealt with. Is there any direct link between the directors of smartxdirect and A & B International ltd. I have no evidence there is.

I do know that paypal have clearly indicated they were considered the seller of the item I wished to purchase. I hope that clarifys any misunderstandings as I do not wish to be misleading with my review. I also know that companies house states the following regarding A & B international ltd. It lists the company status as

Active — Active proposal to strike off.

It is the readers responsibility how to interpret that. I have simply copied the information companies house have on the company that paypal inform me is the seller of the goods I wished to purchase. However, let me reiterate, the website I put my order through was smartxdirect. There was no indication that any other seller was involved when I initially viewed the cart of smartxdirect and agreed to proceed with the purchase through paypal.

Regarding misleading comments, I find it Ironic that during the most recent of online chats with smartxdirect, I felt concern that I was being mislead over delivery dates. At that point I stated that I would like a refund. The person carrying out the chat stated that he would issue the refund when I had edited the review as it was felt my original review was misleading in relation to A & B International. I stated clearly, that the refund I would like was not negotiable on the basis of my review of smartxdirect. I certainly will not negotiate my expectation of a full refund on an item I have yet to recieve and has not even been despatched. I want a refund due to my mistrust of the item I had purchased being delivered in a timely manner if at all (I have waited for 12 days and it still has not turned up - they tell me it will be delivered next tuesday which will be 16 days after I purchased it and the 3rd delivery timetable they gave me) the first was Christmas eve, the 2nd stated date was Friday 27th December (the day I write this review) the last date I have been given is Tuesday 31st January.

A few days ago just before Christmas Day I noticed that smartxdirect chat was working. I copied the transcript that informed me my goods would be delivered by special post Friday 27th December. NOTE: I attempted to use the chat box email transcript which fails to work. As a backup I copied the transcript using another means. If the goods get delivered I will be surprised. As it stands I am unhappy with the service Smartxdirect provide.

This following statement has been copied from smartxdirect website:

Most items listed on the website are in stock. When items are in stock, we will dispatch your order within 24 to 48 working hours in our working days. In case we need to contact you or obtain further information from you to verify an order, we will notify you within 1 working day after you have placed the order. Under unforeseen circumstance that items are not in stock, your order will not be able to dispatch in 24 to 48 working hours, please allow us 2 to 4 working days extra for restocking the items of your order. If your order cannot be dispatched within 5 - 7 working days, we will inform you by email with an explanation as well as an estimated dispatch date.

To clarify my position so as not to mislead the reader, the item I attempted to purchase did not indicate it was out of stock. All indications it was in stock and ready for despatch on the next working day. Clearly that was not the case.

Indeed, not only did the online shop of smartxdirect not indicate the item I wished to purchase was out of stock, it did not email during the next working day or even few days after ordering it was out of stock.

Furthermore, they did not contact me at all, other than to confirm my order had taken place with minutes of ordering. After that, they did not communicate at all other than after the relentless attempts by myself via using their online chat facility. Bear in mind, they implicityly state the following: I quote -

"If your order cannot be dispatched within 5 - 7 working days, we will inform you by email with an explanation as well as an estimated dispatch date"

No email was received. The communication that took place was after repeated attempts by myself via smartxdirect online chat where they gave me 2 delivery dates that did not take place. The 3rd date I decided not to accept and request a full refund as I have stated earlier. They attempted to place a caveat on my refund by suggesting I edit my initial review of the company. Reluctantly I decided to rephrase my review. With that in mind, readers are now able to view my heavily edited initial version. My words come from my mind and are not governed by my heart. They genuinely reflect my appraisal of the experience I have recently had of smartxdirect UK.


I originally stated I was getting concerned with paypals ability to monitor companies who they use. Paypal are a trusted name and any company that is allowed to use their system as a means of transaction has be completely robust. I have read review after review that indicates smartxdirect have an incredibly poor reputation in their ability to deliver goods.

To summarise: Smartxdirect cannot be trusted to deliver goods on time. It probably stems around an effective online store front that is managed by a poor and inefficient transaction system. I.E

1) Easy to navigate online shop
2) Effective transaction system (card details and money gathering)
3) Let down by a poor stocking level database
4) Let down by poor customer services
5) Let down by poor communication service between the transaction service providers, customers and online shop
6) Poor despatch system that is ineffectively linked to stocking control where items can be quickly located and sent to customers as quickly as possible.

In a sentence, Smartxdirect are an immature website dealing in technology goods. They are cheap and are probably working on the very extreme of margins. The biggest problem they have is that their online store front is far superior than to their transaction system. It is a recipe that will only result in poor customer confidence.

"Deserve zero stars!"

Ordered my son an IPhone on the 18/12/19 for his Xmas present. After waiting a few days I emailed and asked why they had still not dispatched it as despite taking my payment I had still not received a tracking number as stated. I said it was an Xmas present for my son so I needed by 24th or would like a refund. By the 27th, still no refund and no phone so my son had no present on Xmas day. Have been told on 27th they have issued a refund but it's yet to show. This means despite taking my money on 18th, and knowing it was an Xmas present, on the 27th it still hasn't been dispatched. Terrible customer service and my first...and last time ordering from this company. Wish I Would have read all these bad reviews prior to ordering! Lesson learnt!

"This company is an absolute joke please…"

This company is an absolute joke please don’t trade with them. I purchases an Air pod Case for my son for Xmas and it was the 8ncorrect colour soI have attempted to return it and after at least six emails I still have not had a response and doubt very much now wether my money will be refunded.
Find somebody else do not use this company.
