Would highly recommend using Direction Law services, they have been very helpful from start to finish with the purchase of my new build property and got me in before Christmas. They were always available on the end of the phone or via email when I had any queries and kept me updated.Excellent customer service and made the whole process stress free. "Worst Experience"

Me and my partner were recommend Direction Law by another company we had associated with. Our expectations were normal, and had no hesitancy of anything dreadful to happen, but things did not plan that way, as our experience was unbearable over the course of the next four months. This was also me and my partners first property, so we just wanted to make sure things sailed smoothly. In the beginning we were quoted a figure, which was absolutely fine, and we put down a deposit with Direction Law. Our developers were getting so frustrated with Direction Law as the lack of communication was just pathetic. I get a much better service at my local chippy. It seems as if our case was bounced around the entirety of the business, as a new name was in my emails in regards to my our property- this just isn't right. I think I calculated 1 out of 5 of my emails I sent frequently to Direction Law had a response, and there were so many that just got ignored. Me and my partner always made sure we sent documents and signatures off straight away - Direction Law on the other hand, decided to take 3 working years to finally send back paperwork, to which they expected you to respond back straight away. When I did complain to them saying how disappointed I was in the service, they seemed to want to point the blame at you. The property we were moving into was already built, and our developers had set an approximate date of just over a month we could be in, but this was not the case as Direction Law completely ruined that for us with prolonged faff, and nuisance. Finally after months of waiting, we got told by Direction Law that we needed to pay the rest of our bill, only for them to say that our quoted price was incorrect, and the person at Direction Law who quoted us our price was incorrect and misunderstood the costs. There are so many things I could list to why you should avoid this company at all costs, and rather than settling with Direction Law, just save that extra bit of money and use a company that actually has good ratings.

"This has been a nightmare!"

This has been a nightmare. It is going on 6 months and I am still awaiting a completion date. I come to find out that documents I sent back in Aug have only now begun to be reviewed in Dec. I have had no contact with my solicitor Charlotte Simpson as she hasn’t replied to any of my calls or emails. This whole process she doesn’t inform me of anything. Since 9 Dec I’ve heard nothing and when you write this email client.services@directionlaw but no one will reply, I have tried several times. So while they stopped working a week ago I am left not knowing anything. They go off to Christmas break and enjoy in their homes and I am left not knowing where I will live, if I need to find accommodation or when they will contact me again. Imagine the lack of empathy they have to treat a human this way before the holidays? The level of anxiety, stress, depression they will put you through? I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. My name is Jennifer Sevilla. This is not a bot. It’s not enough to read this review and run for the hills. You need to tell whoever recommended them in the first place about the 75 complaints on here. You need to get these people off the list of professionals to use as they are not professional. They have made my home buying experience a nightmare. God help me.
