I was recommended to use this firm via my the Sales Team of my Shared Ownership Housing Team. I have no issues with the housing team, however, I was not impressed by the lack of communication by the allocated Personal Assistant (PA) to the Lawyer who was tasked with supporting me to complete the legal requirements of purchasing a Shared Ownership property.

At first instruction I was informed to contact the PA for any concerns or updates prior to the lawyer completing the completion.

I made repeated attempts to call her and I think I only ever spoke to her once to confirm acknowledgement of my email.

Since the one and only time I spoke with her briefly, whenever I called and left a message, she never returned any calls, she was lapse in replying to emails in a timely manner. I get it that we are all busy but at the beginning of me instructing Direction Law to act on my behalf, I was advised that the service was a friendly one and any issues to get in touch!!!

When entering into a contract with Direction Law to act on my behalf, I was lead to believe that any concerns I had would be addressed once I made contact...this was not the case and the PA did not demonstrate the common courtesy of communication

This is my 2nd poor review of this company due to its lack of communication and feedback! My first review was back in October, which was 4 months after instructing them to work for me. Now we are in December,6 months on!

I found out on Monday form the owners of the property that i am purchasing that the top of the chain had pulled out and that i was lucky the whole thing had not fallen through, however we were unlikely to complete until Feb/March time as other chain members had to find another property and go through conveyancing again. It is now Thursday and i am yet to hear this from my solicitors themselves.

There is no personal touch whatsoever. This company clearly takes on far too many clients than they an cope with. Money over customer service!

Great stuff, really helpful and fairly swift throughout and made the process fairly painless. Better communication and timings around compliance would have made it perfect but not far off the mark, would be happy to use them again for sure.

A document of mine was shared. Was told I would receive information regarding this, after chasing several times I never received any further information. I'm still in the dark as to what happened. For the money I paid for this service I found the level of professionalism and corraspondance extremely poor. I was constantly receiving E-mails from people within Direction Law I hadn't spoken to before, which on a security perspective I found concerning. I never had a single audible conversation with anyone. I was sent the wrong documentation on several occasions which slowed down my completion process. Very poor.
