This company convinces you to enter your payment details as they say it increases your chances of securing your desired apartment by 56%. The site says that the monthly rental will ONLY be taken from your account if the landlord agrees to take you on as a tenant. I stupidly followed their advice and within a nanosecond of entering my debit card details €3800 was taken from my bank account. The company’s WhatsApp helpline is not being monitored and I have not only currently lost the ability to book somewhere else (because this scam company has taken all my money) but I have no idea if the landlord has agreed to my rental. So, I am now penniless and homeless because of this rotten company. I feel like I’ve been scammed out of nearly €4000 and I am going to report this matter to the police.

This time I am renting a beautiful apartment in Kiel and the property has been handled over smoothly. The apartment is conveniently located and the rooms are clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The landlord is super friendly and has sent me the physical copy of the "Wohnungsgeberbestätigung" this morning as promised, even though it was snowing heavily then. I would recommend anyone to rent your apartment through Homelike based on my wonderful experience.

The housing situation in Berlin is very tough. Homelike helped me rent an apartment for several months, making the move much easier.

I rented a wonderful apartment in Schmargendorf, fully furnished, and as I see now, the usual rent for an unfurnished apartment of the same class would not have been much cheaper.

I paid with a card for the first month on the site, even though at that time I didn’t yet have a German card and an account in a German bank.

The site has a simple interface in English, its performance is good. The only thing missing is options in the search, such as a dishwasher. There is also a lack of functionality to specify the precision of the start and end of stay separately. For example, the exact check-in date and a flexible check-out date.

Especially useful is to look at apartments on the map.

The site calculates the actual monthly payments in the `rent&payments` section, make sure to check them, as deposits in Germany can be simply monstrous.

I would like the site to have a secure deposit feature, like one of its competitors. According to German law, the landlord can return the deposit within up to 6 months, and in some cases, up to a year.

Employees at HomeLike speak English, you can ask them anything and they help. I'm not sure if I can mention a specific person's name here, but in my case, I am completely satisfied.

I was put into a dump with no kitchen equipment and massive water damage. I asked Homelike multiple times to negotiate a rent credit or something because the place was not as advertised. A two-bedroom that was, in fact, a studio with hospital curtains around the beds. Every query was ignored.
