Like many flats, the photos were nicer than the actual apartment. This was good space for two people but needed some TLC. That said, we loved the quiet charming neighborhood which was surrounded by great restaurants, bakeries and a few blocks for the beautiful and lively old town. Edeka, Aldi’s and REWE a brief walk away. The beds were all very comfortable which mattered greatly. If we needed anything Carlos and Mr. S were immediately responsive, very friendly and quickly solved any need. Very good people. We were here for 6 weeks and loved it all even the gray cold weather.

"Breach of Trust: False Advertising and Lack of Customer Support""

I rented an apartment in Berlin through homelike platform for one month (January 18, 2025 – February 18, 2025). My reservation code is B-AJG950, and the apartment code is BER-678113. The listing on homelike website promised Wi-Fi and a functioning washing machine, which were crucial for me, my spouse, and my child, as I have multiple online meetings. Upon check-in, the landlord informed me that there was never any internet in the apartment, and the washing machine was completely broken. I immediately requested these issues to be resolved before moving in, but after 5 days, nothing has been done, and the landlord is unreachable.I did not check in to apartment and stay in another hotel still.
When I contacted homelike, I was told to resolve this directly with the landlord. Despite numerous calls and messages, I have received no assistance or solution from Homelike, and my request for a refund has been denied.
This situation is unacceptable. If the promised amenities cannot be provided, I demand a full refund immediately.

DO NOT TRUST HOMELIKE. After carefully searching about Homelike before using their service to book a flat in Munich, we finally decided to go ahead as the rating on TrustPilot and similar websites were positive. After the initial payment of 1000 euros, we realized that we would have to deal with another company (HABYT.com) which seems absolutely unreliable!! The next step would be to pay another 1000 euros but, as we fear we might have no flat when arriving in Munich, we prefer not to pay anymore even if it means that what we already paid is lost.

This website is a hoax, and it collaborates with fraudulent rental organizations such as Habyt. When I asked them to refund my first month's rent and deduct the service fee, they refused.
