I seem to be an exception to the rule here by having a relatively good experience with Perx
I purchased 20 physical cards and the purchase process was straight forward by filling out 20 emails for staff involved and applying the same 4 digit code to all .
The staff had no issues setting up cards as they were told to use the same email and 4 digit code when setting up account.
On a personal level, I found the setting up of my own account easy enough. However, it is initially not clear that one has to unlock the card using the 4 digit security code supplied by employer. This lead to an embarrassing situation at a shop in which the card did not work the first time.
I subsequently used the card again 3 or 4 times and worked fine. However, on the fifth occasion in a Circle K store I was prompted for a 4 digit pin which I now know is different to the unlock code. I had no idea what to do until the cashier recognised the card and told me I needed to use the last 4 digits of the 16 numbers on the card as my pin. This is insane as nowhere on the website is this advised.
In summary , it appears that information needs to be communicated better to employers and users of the cards by Perx . The physical cards worked ok for us but I can see how the cards can fail if any one of the many variables are incorrect or unknown to users

Got one Perx card as a test. Their card activation site doesn't work for last two weeks at least. No customer service available when I rang them on 28th December 2023. Doesn't look good so far. I will demand my refund

Very poor , even after the palaver of activation it was declined in various stores , still won’t work , even cashiers in the stores said they are useless , don’t buy these

Absolutely awful reward card.
I have a Perx reward card from August. I tried using it now. The virtual card I received is a bunch of letters with no CCV. I don't know how anyone is supposed to use this card. There are awful reviews online. I've contacted Perx online via email but no response yet. I can't use my reward card at all.
I've found it difficult to use from the beginning on certain outlets, but now, I can't even use the card since the number format has become letters and no CCV. How does this even change?! Avoid at all costs.

In order to buy online you need to enroll for 3DS which entails entering your mobile no. So simple? No it's not. They have a bug on their system which they refuse to admit (I work in software). No matter what platform you can't store your number. Even their advisor in "Support"couldn't do it.
I rang the first time 7th in the queue. He said you could not add it to Google wallet. Yet the site says "The Perx® Digital card is a prepaid digital Mastercard® that you can use to make purchases in-store or online. It can be added to your Google Pay or Apple Pay mobile wallets for in-store purchases." Perx staff need to read the FAQ page linked to my card then. He told me my card is not a digital card. I rang back again frustrated, 27th in the Queue!! we wanted to buy a TV with the card and now can't. Perx thinks I can magic €1k out of my own purse. Every time I try to purchase it says there is a problem with the issuer. So I am stuck in a mortified limbo as we already tried to purchase with a massive Queue behind us and the card was refused. Perx don't seem to care as they have no staff to deal with this.
The Irony is I went though this same Bull last year. When will Employers learn, DO NOT USE PERX it only frustrates your employees. Appalling after care.

If i can give zero star, i would.
Absolutely avoid this card for your staff reward, my company used them to reward staff globally for joining a competition and absolutely no one accross the globe has been able to use them. This card give me more stress than joy of gaining a reward.
Their website are blocked in some countries, and card is rejected by local online shops. OTP does not arrive at all. No response to email/customer service call not answered. This card is a scam.

Costs. Card declined in some shops and worked in others. Left totally embarassed at the checkout numerous times. For a company that’s quick enough to take payment and now closed until after Christmas. Very poor!!!! I’ve now a card with a €400 or so that can’t be used.
